Fried chicken livers were so overdone they were hard as rocks, baked sweet potato had cooked so long that there was almost nothing inside and there was a overdone fried shrimp on the plate. None of my wife's vegetables were hot. Even the biscuits were bad...the parts that weren't crunchy were tough.

Cracker Barrel is usually way too caloric for me but I managed to be happy with their catfish which is truly delicious. Must admit I was also seduced by their cornmeal muffins which are not the least bit dry! But glad I didn't have to settle for other highly breaded fried offerings.

This was to be a quick stop for food on our trip to our vacation destination. And that it was. The food was as good as any Cracker Barrel I've been and the service was fast. We received our food items and was on our way.

Very good service and food that we expect from a Cracker Barrel Restaurant. The price was reasonable. We were on a trip and on our way home.

I am really not a fan of this chain of restaurants but I have to admit that I had a great breakfast here at a very reasonable price. I find most of the items on their menu to be laced with fat and high in calories, so you have to be extremely selective about what you order. I ordered a... More

We had supper at the Cracker Barrel and enjoyed our supper. Our server was very friendly with a lovely smile. We decided to have the roast beef/gravy served over sour dough bread served with mashed potatoes. TASTY!! It would have been nice to have this meal served with a vegetable but the potato is the vegetable our server told us.... More

We arrived to the Fairfield Inn a little after 7 PM, so after getting settled in, we walked over to Cracker Barrel and had a cheap late night dinner. There's nothing special about their food but the waitresses were nice and the food wasn't bad.

On the way to DragonCon (Atlanta, GA) we stop for the night in Chester, VA and make it a point to head for the Cracker Barrel. Even though we get there about 1/2 hour before closing, we are always greeting with a smile and the food is always fresh and tasty. Looking forward to seeing you in 2015.
