Meat! Yummy!

We have been here several times and always had good food and good service. I like the ribs and she likes the brisket. It is not cheap, but well worth it when you crave some delicious meats!

Had lunch with my family of 4 on a Friday in July. Had never seen this chain before. Nice decor, clever sayings everywhere, even the bathroom stalls. Terrific barbecue food, big portions. We and our two teens, plus two drinks totaled over $100. Hefty for lunch. But nice place and would go again.

I loved the smoked chicken wings. The variety of BBQ sauces were great as well. The menu had a nice variety and the kids menu seemed to fit our needs. The prices of the meals were a little high and we were on a budget so we ended up having to share a meal. Otherwise, it was a great experience.... More

Everyone seems to love this place but I've been there twice and probably wont go back. Not that it's bad, but there are just so many better places around that I'd rather spend my money at.

Their baby back ribs are the good, its just that service was on the slow side, and it was not overly busy ( no line, 5 minute seating for party of six) Drinks were right there after order, Appetizer's finally show, Then within a minute, our order shows up, and we are asked if we are done with the appetizer plates,... Staff was terrible and the manager was a jerk. Complained about loud music and bad service and manager ignored. When I made a comment to server about being my anniversary and that she did not do a good job I was kicked out of restaraunt and not allowed to eat food I paid for. NEVER go here !

We like Smokey Bones, but the one is Chesapeake seems dulls. The waitstaff seemed slow, although the restaurant was not busy. The Virginia Beach location across from the Cheesecake Factory was full - and we were there at lunchtime!

We had lunch and the food was very good. We started with the Tot Tini which was excellent. Our table had a variety of entrees - ribs, pulled pork sandwiches and a meat platter. All were very good and our server was very attentive. It was a good meal for the price.

I had a night out with an old friend and we decided to go to the Smokey Bones for dinner. We started out with an order of the nachos with pork BBQ. For dinner we ordered racks of the St. Louis smoked ribs which were easy to separate. The flavor was wonderful and mouthwatering. The price is very reasonable and... More

My husband LOVES these burgers. The meat is good quality, and always cooked right, and he's very pleased with the selections. The service is always good. The one downfall is the atmosphere, which is much more geared towards adults than families, more of a bar atmosphere.
