When I first went here for lunch, the food reminded me of my favorite place in City Island NY. The fish was great. I don't know if they change the frying grease or seasoning, but it hasn't taste the same in awhile. I still go from time to time, the fish is ok, they went up on the price and... More

Not many restaurants can handle 30 for lunch, but the Pirate's Cove staff did it flawlessly! Our friendly servers efficiently took our orders, kept our beverages topped off and expertly handled the individual tabs with a smile. Our meals were delicious and hot, and incredibly, served promptly and all together. As part of a large group, or dining with my... More

We were greated as soon as we entered the resturant. There was a wait but the staff kept us informed on the wait time. Once seated our drink orders were taken and delivered in a timely manner. The food was fabulous; great value. Our meals arrived hot and everything was fresh.

My partner and I had planned to go to a restaurant which she had recommended, but it was full so she suggested Pirates Cove, which she had heard was good. We turned up and were politely greeted and quickly taken to a table, where a charming female server took our orders. The drinks were served promptly a wonderful mixed salad... More

Went here for lunch one day and they had a fish and chips special. Ordered it and it was well worth the money. Good fish not too heaviely batter and good fries, the slaw was good but a little runny. It was boarderline too much food but I did finish it. The decor is nice with a lot of flags... More

My hubby and I love this place. The food is delicious, best crab cakes and she crab soup around. The portions here are big and there are a few seats by the front windows that have genuine ambiance. The only negative about the place is that it is in a shopping center and has a somewhat blah atmosphere. Also, it... More

I ordered fried combo of jumbo crab cake and scallops and my wife ordered fried oysters. Very large oysters done to perfection; not runny but tender. My sea scallops were lightly battered plentiful. The crab cake was huge with very little breading. 2 beers and iced tea as $57.00 You get what you pay for and this is definately a... More

My wife and I dropped by for a late night dinner on the recommendation of a friend. It's a bright and cheery place and the staff seemed attentive and friendly. We ordered she-crab soup, salads and entrees. The cup of sup was filled to the brim and filled with large hunks of crab meat. A great start for the meal.... More

At one time the fish fry was a great deal at 8 bucks for lunch Those days are gone. You get a lot but it is a cheaper fish ( paddock). Frozen crab legs are a good special on Thursday Night. So I am saying nothing special here nothing to Fresh nothing you can't get everywhere else.Fast, Friendly, and kind... More
