Don't let the outside discourage you. It's just a small place but the food is fantastic! We've eaten there numerous times and never been disappointed. The Philly chicken or cheese steak with grilled onions and peppers is wonderful and deserves all the awards given it.Love the breakfast there. Homemade corned beef hash melts in your mouth. Eggs any way you... More

Hard to find words that will do this place justice. Owners have opted to concentrate on a limited menu of items with each prepared to perfection. All walls are covered with multiple awards they have won for essentially every category of food on their menu. Gary's Philly cheesesteak sandwiches will make you think he's from Philadelphia, and he is. His... More

This place has it all - good food and reasonable prices. What truly sets this restaurant apart from the competition is the people and atmosphere. Easy to miss, we drove past it twice. So glad we didn't give up. Coming from the NC side, it’s just past the McDonald’s. Located in a small white building, Grill at Great Bridge is... More

Voted best cheesesteak year after year. Gary and Ann make everyone feel welcome and at home. Harkens back to the local diner feel. Burgers are large and homemade, breakfast is good old fashion fare, with a flavorful French toast . If you have the chance give it a go.

I stumbled upon this small mom and pop spot and all I can say is WOW!!!!! The first time I came I was looking for something real quick. However I was really impressed so I bought my husband back with me to really check it out. We were pleasantly surprised with the light conversations and being about to watch and... More

I love going to the Grill for breakfast (the home fries and french toast) and lunch (cheese steak sandwich). The couple that owns and run the Grill are very friendly.

Yup, it's small. Like many, we stopped on our way to the OBX. Waitress was friendly. Sometimes these places with heavy local patronage can be unwelcoming. Not so here. Had a good breakfast at a good price. The local's like their football.........it's always fun to catch a bit of conversation here and there. Very friendly.

This is a great little grill. Filled with personality and very good food. While the venue is small (I'd say cosy), the ambiance is grande! If you like a great old time breakfast, this is DEFINATELY the place to go. As has been said before, there is definitely plenty to eat! Also, Ann & Gary are wonderful, and that's what makes... More

The best place for breakfast - good food, specials such as French Toast with local, fresh Raspberries - YUM, YUM!!! One of only a few places that understands "Corned Beef Hash - well done". Definitely plenty to eat! Ann & Gary are wonderful, and that's what makes this place even more special!!!
