Hours limited to lunch and evening, in line with location and traffic. Service was excellent and menu items unique, ingredients from local suppliers. Vegetarian menu available, though not of plant strong compliance (heavy oil). Recommend.

On a Monday night, there were pasta specials and the regular menu. My friend had bruschetta as an app and the hanger steak as her entree and enjoyed them tremendously. I ordered the shrimp scampi which came with a salad for $22.00. Both were excellent but then the restaurant filled up. One whole side of the room had a long... More

We enjoyed dinner with our UVA student. We had a reservation but were running late as we were driving in from out of town. The host kindly called and held our table. The restaurant has a parking lot which is convenient. All our meals were delicious including the linguine and clams, herbed lamb, salmon, and beet salad. They have a... More

These folks do farm-to-table exceptionally well and create extremely interesting meals. We shared what amounted to an octopus cassoulet (VERY GOOD but can't remember its official menu name) and the roasted brussels sprouts. We would do it again.

Service s well informed and delightful. The risotto is usually the highlight! The owners, Ken & Charles are terrific - food is excellent and 10% Tuesday's - 10% of your tab goes to that week's specified charity! Every restaurant ought to do that - it brings in the charity employees, all of their patrons & their friends! Awesome plan

Decor is open, industrial modern with view into the kitchen. Our waitress, bus person, and server were personable and friendly without being intrusive. Food was the highlight. Nice featured wine, full bodied and heady. The Frito Misto was really first rate, lightly coated. At first blush we were disappointed that the zucchini was thick wedges not thin crisps, but were... We went during Restaurant Week. Food was very good, as usual. Waitress professional and friendly. But it took two hours for three courses!!! The kitchen looked understaffed. Not worth that much time.

In Charlottesville for a serious medical condition at UVA hospital we were looking for a pleasant place to eat on a Wednesday night. Wandered down West Main st and stumbled on Orzo. We were pleasantly greeted, seated and waited upon. The food is creative, interesting and delicious. The decor warm and attractive and it is easy to hear your dining... More

4.3 stars. First time eating here and fortunate to make reservations for fixed price menu. Very crowded, but we were promptly seated. Very chic interior, depending on where you are seated. A lot to choose from on the restaurant week menu, which was better than other cville restaurant menus. I had the prosciutto bruschetta appetizer and the mixed salad. Both... More

After spending the day at Ashlawn-Highlands and Monticello, we decided to have dinner at Orzo Kitchen & Wine Bar. The atmosphere was comfortable and the wait staff friendly. Most of all, we were amazed at the meal--delicious!!! As a Washingtonian and U.S. traveler, this was perhaps the best meal we've every had!! After a yummy bowl of butternut squash soup... More
