We used Charlottesville's Restaurant Week as or first opportunity to try out Orzo -- and we were not disappointed. As far as quality, it certainly lived up to the comments made by other reviewers. An excellent array of entrees coupled with a more than ample wine list made this a truly enjoyable experience. The restaurant itself is small, and easy... More

We dined at Orzo last night and I had the braised Colorado lamb. It was fantastic and packed with interesting flavors and texture. My husband tasted it and is looking forward to ordering it. Charles suggested a bottle of Pino Nor that was fabulous.

What a great find! We considered many restaurants in Charlottesville and are so glad we found this one. Small and lively. We were greeted warmly by the owner and our server happened to be his daughter. Both were very friendly, fun, and accomodating. Our entrees were a roast pork loin and vegetable risotto. While I would not consider what I... More

Great place for luncheon, good selection of local products, service and quality has always been great. Nice open space- very light and airy. The location is fun because it is located in a market environment. Very eclectic wine list. Iced tea is awesome with homemade sugar stock Again go for lunch as the prices are half for what they are... More

We sat for an hour nibbling on our appetizer starving for our meal til I asked the waitress how much longer was it gonna be til our meal was served. She reacted as if she was surprised at such a question and said the entree does not begin to cook until the appetizer is finished… I've never had to wait... More

This is a great lunch spot in Charlottesville- tasty, well-priced menu, thoughtful wine & beer list, and a cozy elegant ambience. I enjoyed the service and food on my recent business lunch visit, and I look forward to coming back and trying out Orzo for dinner.

I really enjoyed my meal at Orzo. I met friends for lunch and had the calamari salad along with the pasta bolongnese. The pasta was fresh and was cooked nicely al dente and was complimented by a well seasoned bolognese. My friends had the rosotto and that was yummy too. The service was solid and I would definitely return!

My wife and I went to Orzo's for Valentines Day. They had a fixed price menu and we added a bottle of wine. The food and service was superb. I would highly recommend it.

Went to Orzo on a prix fixe night. we sat in the front of the restaurant and enjoyed the view of the open kitchen. The food was excellent, and the wine choices (at extra cost) were very good. Service was exemplary, especially for such a busy night. The owners were gracious and we appreciated their interest in our dining experience.

We just arrived into charlottesville, tired and hungry. We stumbled across Orzo. Thought it was closed, but went in to discover a little out of the way non-chain gem. The starter of butternut squash soup was delicious. Garnished with a homemade marshmallow, honey and almonds, it was original and very tasty. I had the seared scallops and then the farmers... More
