4 of 5 stars Reviewed April 13, 2014 NEW

We ordered a dinner for two since we were not very ambitious about selecting individual items and not familiar with the restaurant. The offerings were very good and also generous. We took the extra home and had another good meal of it. Service was very polite and gracious and attentive. My one advice would be to throw away soiled menus... More

The Milan is a clean, friendly place to have an Indian meal. The food is good and kept a bit warmer than most buffets. My one suggestion is that the waiters stop hovering so much.

We tend to eat here once a month. They have great mango lassi, palak paneer, tikka misala and naan. The service is great and everyone seems really nice. Highly recommend if you're looking for Indian food.

My husband and I ate here for lunch last week. They had a great spread for the lunch buffet. Lots of choices and flavors. Not disappointed at all, will definitely go back again.

Don't miss this one! Ambiance, service and cuisine all excellent. This restaurant is in my top five nationally and I sample Indian restaurants wherever I go. The peshawari naan is a nice accompaniment to any entree. Excellent selection for those with a vegan or vegetarian preference.

Having noted other positive reviews about this restaurant we thought we would give it a try on a recent business trip and were somewhat disappointed. My wife and I had the chicken saag and the chicken was tough and seemed as though it had been around for a while and maybe just added to the rest of the meal. Couldn't... More

We ate here after an exhausting experience to find a restaurant. After a trip to Monticello and no lunch we first headed to the downtown mall area to find a place to eat. We proceeded to spend the next 2 hours there and the in the UVA campus area trying to find a place to eat that was appealing and... More

I've been for their lunch buffet and for a la carte dinner and have been happy every time. I think this is a nicer venue than the Maharajah, although some people swear by the food at Maharajah. Me, I'll stick with Milan.

I imagine for my first Indian experience, I must be impartial. I enjoyed my Biryani very much, and it came with plenty in the serving. Overall, the restaurant had a nice ambiance and the servers were just fine. They could've been a little more attentive, but otherwise I think I will go back and try other dishes and get my... More

We eat here at lunch time all the time. Lunch is a buffet, so.... you will have ebbs and flo's in the quality and quantity of the offerings. Don't settle for the bottom of the pan, just motion to the wait staff and it will be magically refilled with nice fresh food. I love the lentil dish and the tandoori... More
