This is my favorite Indian restaurant in C'ville. The staff are helpful and the food delicious. The feel is a bit upscale but even though I typically do not rise to that ideal I have always been made welcome. Give it a try,

The food was excellent, I had the vegan combination dinner. You will be stuffed! I felt all the flavors were bold and the staff was quick and helpful. They asked me repeatedly if I wanted more rice or anything else, and it was timed perfectly with appetizer, main course, and dessert!

We both love Indian food and with this restaurant ( and the one just across the street) (both within 1/4 mile of our hotel) lunch was excellent every day!!! This one has the best raita and onion chutney.
