Cute place

I live in the area, and have been a couple times. It is a cute store that has gourmet sandwich type food. It is very convenient to stop in to buy snacks or lunch to take to Jefferson Vineyards which is right across the street.

This is a great local stop for sammies or a cup of coffee and assorted small bites. We swung through and grabbed sandwiches for our weekend of wine tasting and it was great! Rustic artesian sandwiches that were excellent and complimented the day perfectly.

This used to be an old convenience store and gas station many years ago. It's been converted into a small restaurant that serves 'to go' food as well. Tasty sandos and they offer deserts as well

If you are on the road past Michie Tavern, Carter's mountain, wineries, etc, this is a quick stop for sandwiches and cookies. Not much else to speak of, but on a warm dayit has a picnic table out front. They charge for recyclable water cups. Check out the old church across the street.

The only place nearby the Jefferson, Blenheim, and Trump wineries for mid-day fare. Very fortunately their sandwiches are spectacular and their cookies are too. There is a wait, but its worth it. Its definitely a 'local' establishment, so check their hours before you plan to come. They're on Virginia Rte 53 across from the Jefferson winery.

We had a couple of freshly prepared sandwiches served by very friendly staff during our visit to the area wineries. Yes, as other reviews state, there are no restrooms, and parking and tables are limited. As long as you know that going in, I don't think you will be disappointed. I would not hesitate to eat here again.

We were in Charlottesville for a doc's appointment @UVA and someone suggested this out of the way stop. The ladies were very attentive to us and provided us with some of the best sandwiches we have eaten in a long time. The products that they offer for sale inside were awesome and fairly priced. Looking forward to going again.

LOVED. THIS. PLACE. would highly recommend to anyone, and will do so whenever possible. the small space definitely lends to the cozy feeling, and delightful small touches (such as the cash register/iPad setup in a wooden turntable and gourmet sodas) make it feel intimate and family-esque. a limited selection showcases only the strengths of this spot, focusing on fresh sandwiches/paninis,... This is a great place with a variety of sandwiches. There isn't much seating, but taking food to go for a picnic would be a great idea. I had the andouille sausage with peppers, and it was awesome. It had the perfect level of spice and so much flavor. The portion size was perfect for me, but I could see... More
