We visited UVa last Spring and got 8"of snow. Our tour was cancelled so we enjoyed a leisurely breakfast here. If was very good and convenient.

I absolutely love this restaurant. Went there recently with my daughter who lives in Charlottesville. We went for Sunday brunch and sat right in front of the fireplace which had a roaring fire. Great ambiance, right in front of the fireplace. Great customer service without being overbearing. Complimentary bread, chef appetizer and chocolates to finish the meal.

$45 for a hideous scallop dish in some unrecognizable thick sauce. $8 for a scoop of freezer burn ice cream and I use the word scoop liberally. It was tiny and awful.

My spouse and I went to the Old Mill Room Valentine's Day. The dinner was a prix-fixe, with a nice a selection of courses. Although it was Valentine's Day, the room was not crowded (bad weather may have kept some people away). The main room has a nice rustic ambiance, with old beams and a fireplace. Wonderful! Get there! Were lucky that we arrived promptly at 11 AM (on the road), no reservations, and were seated.
