Due to proximity, our Company, and my team, have occasion to frequent the Old Mill Room at the Boar's Head Inn. Now, if you are a Virginia Tech alum, you will not burst into flames (yes, it is owned by the UVA Foundation). The food in our five visits was fantastic. While the buffet is a favorite, off the menu is... More

We ate here more than planned because it was so good and it was so easy just to stay on property for dinner as well as brunch. All food was very well prepared and the service is gracious. The restaurant is a strong reason to stay at the Boar's Head Inn.

Our diner at the Old Mill Room @ The Boar's Head was typical of what one would expect at a fine dining restaurant. The ambiance, food and service were all very good. The restaurant provides the small "touches" one expects at a fine dining experience. Highly recommended.

The room is very pleasant and quiet, a wonderful place for old friends to catch up [as we did]. Service is excellent and highly professional. The food, however, is just OK, and overpriced.

First time eating there. Had lunch. Food was very good but the service was spectacular. We felt we were the only ones in the room and our server Nancy couldn't have been more accommodating to our party of 8.

It's a delight eating here at any time. The weekday brunch is exceptional: a large variety of hot and cold items, including their renowned spicy peanut soup, and fabulous desserts. One would be hard pressed to find a better brunch anywhere.

We came to celebrate a recent move to Charlottesville. The service was impeccable. My husband had the lamb shank which was fall off the bone tender and delicious. I had the crab cake, which had too much filler for my liking and was served with a very sweet slaw. The savory and the sweet did not compliment each other well.... More
