Our server was polite, though despite being very empty (which should've been a clue), he messed up two aspects of our order, and seemed really flustered and overworked--maybe he was doing some homework in between visits to our table. But the reason for the two star review is the food. The nachos we started with were decent, but definitely the... More

The correct location is 2291 Seminole La. , across from the Doirble Tree hotel. Great dinner with the Bada Bing chilada , great prices, in my opinion too low. Large portions. The bada bing has pesto sauteed chicken, artichokes, two cheeses, spinach and some other goodies all in a large whole wheat tortilla. Incredible combination. Huge menu.

On a delayed flight from CHO we decided to grab an early dinner at Baja, a favorite for Mexican cuisine. These good folks have always accommodated my allergens to lactose, gluten and soy by committing to prepare my favorite fajitas without vegetable oil mixed into the vegetables and meat. Before the fajitas were prepared with only a slight touch of... More

We were greeted and immediately shown to seats. The restaurant was clean. We had fajitas, chicken and steak. Sides were great, which included a nice fresh gucamole. The flour tortillas were grilled. The salsa was a freshly made and delicious. We will be going back.

We eat here very visit to C-ville. Freshly made, unique dishes. Not your regular tacos, burritos, and fajitas. Warm and friendly staff, big portions, great value. 4 lunches for under $40? yes. You will not be disappointed.

I had the vegetable enchiladas combo, which was pretty good. The price ($6.50) is about average for standard Mexican food. The place wasn't awesome, but it wasn't horrible either--a pretty typical run-of-the-mill Tex-Mex eatery. I would eat there again for a quick, inexpensive, lunch.

This was better than most. Had a nice variety on the menu. Great salsas - a variety to choose from. Seemed to be very popular with the locals. I had tacos and enchiladas. My husband had an enchilada dinner. Both were very good.

The title says it all. The food is really verging on inedible. But I have had fun having a few beers here, and while I've never been, karaoke is supposed to be fun. Just, please, don't eat.

Disclaimer: I love Mexican food, especially of the Text-Mex varieity. Baja Bean Co does not disappoint. This location on the Corner near UVA is a great choice if you're looking for quick and affordable Tex-Mex food. Lunch menu is great -- for just $6.45 you can choose from about a dozen entrees, with soft drink included. I had the Big... More

Good location on the Corner, where it's been for years, with decent decor. Service was quick, with good salsa and chips. Chicken tamales were also fairly good, but the side of rice was undercooked and dry, and I didn't feel up to touching the small blob of refried beans. A decent 'eat-and-forget' place - but not one I'd go out... More
