Our extended family of 9 just loved our dining experience. Fabulous fresh food, excellent service and lovely setting. We so appreciate everything. Generally Ivy Inn is usually open for dinner, but they offer brunch.now and then.

I celebrated my 70th birthday with family at the Ivy Inn, and the food and service were outstanding! From the appetizers to the dessert, the food was tasty and beautifully presented. We had two bottles of wine and six dinners, and the meal, I am told, came to over $400, so take your heavy wallet! I would rate this "5"... More

Great place to have dinner, use many local products, extensive wine list. Very easy to get to, and plenty of parking close to the Inn. Maybe called Inn but they do not offer rooms for overnight stays.

I went here for my fiancee's birthday and the Ivy Inn gave us a perfect evening. From the personalized menus (printed up to say "happy birthday" to my girl) to the impeccable service, to the absolutely amazing food as well as drinks, I could not have imagined a better dining experience. Thank you so much everyone at the Ivy Inn...you... More

four of us wanted to splurge on an upscale meal. this spot worked perfectly. menu had great variety. food was done perfectly. everyone was very happy. no complaints. i'd go back for a romantic dinner ... maybe on a quiet night. with tip, though, somehow we managed to spend $380. that's pricey!

We recently dined at The Ivy Inn and had a really nice time. Our waiter was very energetic and well-versed. Truly I expected the food to be a bit better than it was though everything was good. The sesame bread was much better than the raisin bread. Both were served with sweet, whipped butter. The bibb lettuce salad was absolutely... More

My husband and I have dined here several times. The food is consistently very good and interesting. The service is attentive and friendly. The decor is cozy and charming. The wine list has a nice selection. This is our favorite place to dine in the Charlottesville area. I wish it were in D.C. so that we could go more often.

The Ivy Inn seems to be a former private house that has been converted into a charming restaurant. We were seated into a room upstairs that fitted well our group of nine. We were served by very friendly members of staff. All were happy with their choices from the menu which is a bit heavy on the red meats. My... More

Was lovely to find a more elegant yet comfortable and lovely establishment such as this. The food was fabulous, wine selection generous, and Simon, our waiter, was absolutely top notch. Will definitely return.
