I am a sushi snob, sorry. Miyako is a fantastic little place, some of the best sushi in Virginia, friendly, family owned, the real deal. You can taste the love. Chef Mabu is nice and makes honest good sushi, undeniable. It's my goto place for sushi in Charlottesville, don't waste your time elsewhere, I already have. more

Love Miyako, great fish every time. The cooked foods I like as well. Try the chili shrimp or the fried rice. Also, the sushi chef is very friendly if you sit at the sushi bar. more
