Great service, decent beer, and a great atmosphere. A very chill place to hang out and eat the best Pretzel I've ever had. I've gone on a quest to find a better Pretzel since I tried this one about a year and a half ago. Unfortunately...I still have to go all the way to Charlottesville from Richmond to get the... More

Fun brewpub with a chill atmosphere. Beer is decent but could ask for more. The hefeweizen is definitely worth the 3.75 happy hour price. If downtown, definitely try it out!

Just released and fantastic. Growler refills at a competitive $8.50. Glad I had two in the car. Parking could be a problem during popular times.

Great little bar with the brewery inside which you can see from the bar. They brew their own beer there and that is all they offer so if you dont like to try new things best find another place. The appetizers were great--try the black bean tostada with shrimp.

I only stopped by for their beer and tried 4 samplers all of which very good. It can be a little hard to find if not familiar with town. The food menu looked good and typical brew pub fair.

The beers was good, the service was friendly and prompt and the food was nicely prepared with attention paid to the ingredients, which were fresh. The atmosphere was quite nice and relaxing in the renovated authentic brick warehouse. Value was very good.

Not bad for a local brewery. However, one might want to grab a bite somewhere else. Their food lacks punctuality and flavor. Gets busy with a youger croud, usually on the weekend. They do have a great fireplace for those cold winter days!

The beer variety and bar scene is great. Roomy bar and seating areas to hang out with friends. Drafty and somewhat cold, but nice fire in the fireplace. I had not been there for years, and was disappointed that the food was just average. The hamburger was ok, and the ribs were very saucy, which covered up the too-fatty ribs.... More

We stopped in last night while passing through Charlottesville. Our server stopped by immediately with water and menus. We each ordered a sample of all of their offerings. All were very good - good enough we took home a growler of the JP Ale. Overall good menu, plus a couple of specials for the night. We each had one of... More

We stopped in for a quick beer while visiting Charlottesville Va. We got a flight to share of their several different beers and they were all great!
