Nice upgrade and good beer selections but food???

We have been coming to South Street for years and this was our first visit to the newly refurbished premises. I must say it looks good and I like the openness of the entire space, however, the noise level is high and somewhat annoying; there are too many hard surfaces which make for a loud... read more

Usually a choice of so many beers means none of them are good. Not here, everything was well done even if some choices are not to your taste. The food at lunch was absolutely excellent and a nice compement to beer tasting.

I'm a craft brew fan and South Street did not disappoint. Friendly and knowledgeable servers, comfortable atmosphere. Many TVs but not loud at all. Excellent food with unique twists including pickles and peppers! Enjoyed the beer selection, as well. Just passing through while on vacation or I'd go back soon!

I tired samples of two of theirs stouts (my typical beer), but was not a huge fan of them. Ended up going with the Dunkel which was ok. Food was surprisingly very good. A wide mixture of food with most of the meats appearing to be from local farms. Cheese curds were good with an usual mix of peppers and... More

The facility was quite nice and a clean , sleek line. We were met and shown to a nice table for 6 . The menu beers served were all made on site. I had a very creative dish that was a hybrid of pulled pork and wontons . Great combination of textures and tastes . Our server was quite knowledgeable... More

We love craft beer so this was definitely the place for us!!!! Our waiter was so knowledgable about the beers and menu options it made our visit even more wonderful. The beers we Tried ( We had a flight and had many Favorites!!!) were some of the best craft beers we've ever had. And we definitely recommend the chocolate fondue!!!!... More

The beer selection was very good...they had twelve different beers on tap and had most every variety of beer that you could be looking for. Some were better than others of course, but I have tried both flights that they offer and was pretty impressed with several of their options. The food was the most surprising part of the visit... I'm really more of a wine drinker than a beer drinker, but I got a sampler (Sampler 1) and was quite pleased! I think I liked all of them except one. I also had a burger (mushroom and swiss) and it was good as well. My friend ordered the doughnut bread pudding and I had some....OH MY GOD!!!!!! It was... More

I have been here twice since Blue Mountain took over and both times were great. I didn't like the beer, darkness, or the food at the old place at all. They have since hired a new chef and built a creative menu that is out of site. I have had 2 meals as well as several apps and all are... More
