Great meal and service.

Loved the food, atmosphere, service was good, too. Definitley recommend it. Prices are very good for the quality of food.

I dinned there on St Patricks day. We decided to eat their four course meal option. It was fantastic, it started with a scallop and mushroom soup. The second course was a pork bell dish. The third course was a scallop on top of pork belly on top of mashed sweet potatoes. The desert was very good as well. Nice... More

My husband and I ate here for our last anniversary and it was wonderful. It's a pricey place but the atmosphere, the service, and the food are all worth every penny.

My family and I were in the area visiting UVA and it just happened to be Valentine's Day when we went. They had a prix fixe menu that included app, main and dessert for $45. Coming from NY I thought this was reasonable. Choices included lobster bisque, fried oyster and haddock. Although the portions were small for my husband, the... More

OK so the Skybar is only on the second floor, but it is Charlottesville. Great drink menu. The Dakota is one of the best warm beverages I have ever enjoyed. Great beer and wine list and the mussels in sofrito and coconut milk are incredible. To top it off the bar staff are friendly and knowledgeable.

Food and service are both excellent. It is much quieter than some of the other popular Charlottesville restaurants, and in my experience, is not as hard to get in at dinner time. Maybe I was just lucky! This is what I consider an upscale, but not overly expensive, restaurant. Craig Herberg

My husband and I found this place one afternoon and we were starving at 3pm! Most places in the area closed at 2pm and didn't open for dinner til 5:30, so Skybar saved us! We ordered the corn and crab chowder and the chicken samosas, they were delicious!! Happy hour beers were a great deal also.

We have eaten at quite a few of the Restaurants In C'vills downtown area together, and this one was our next pick. and we were NOT disappointed. The Service , ambiance and food were all excellent ( well worth... More

Having eaten at a number of restaurants on the downtown mall in Charlottesville, I can say this was by far the best. Not only was the food very good, but the service was outstanding. The waiter was not pushy, but always seemed to be around just as we had a question. Our glasses never made it below half full, and... More

Wow. Such amazing food. Went here with friends. Was seated within 10 minutes on a busy Saturday night. Waiter was funny, charming and informative. Apps were delicious as were the drinks (the gin and tonic was the BEST I've ever had). Got the scallops with the pork belly and changed the sweet potatoes to garlic, scallion potatoes from the special... More
