Good Food, Good Price, Can be Crowded

Nothing fancy but still good food at a good price. Old style paper place mats remind me of when I was a kid....They have about what you would expect on the menu for a "southern" breakfast. Waitress' are attentive and during the breakfast hours on weekends the place is hoppin'. If you get there... read more

Had breakfast at 8am with a friend at The Villa. My first time but not his. Menu looked good for a diner. I had the western omelet which turned out to be scrambled eggs with stuff mixed in. It didn't taste bad but not an omelet. The glass of tomato juice did not taste good. Definitely a poor quality of juice.... More

This is a classic spot for breakfast in Charlottesville. Anything you want for breakfasts with lots of specials. Grits you have to try once; biscuits are always great.. Go all out with the steak and eggs ($14).

I've eaten at The Villa about a dozen times and have never come away disappointed. I've had both their breakfast and lunch menu items and generally these have been tasty and satisfying. They have a friendly wait staff; and when I've been there, they have served up generous portions. Usually average wait time for food to be served, but there... More

A good, no frills option. Breakfast is always good. The omelets and pancakes are excellent, and they have some good crepes too. It's always crowded on a weekend, but they don't rush you out. Recently went for the first time for dinner. The gyro was very good.

We wanted to grab a quick breakfast prior to departing Charlottesville and the Villa Diner was a good choice. We were seated after 5 minutes as they needed to cleanup a table for us. Mind you, leaving ketchup on the edge of the booth seat should have been caught. We were handed menus and served coffee pretty quickly. Our food... More

You know it's popular when it's hard to find parking. We were initially concerned how long the wait would be, but it moved fast. It is a basic diner with booths and experienced waitresses. They were on top of water, juice and coffee from the minute we sat down. Good hearty breakfast, tasty crepes. Comfort food!

Everything you'd expect at a typical pancake house in the area. Service was good for what I'd expect us the usual Sunday morning chaos. Prices were in line. Judging from the empty plates, everyone enjoyed their meals.
