Interesting restaurant set in an old gas station. Drinks were very good with unique takes on the Manhattan and other classics. Food was tasty, but was severed cold due to overworked staff leaving our meals sitting on the counter for an extended period. The cheese tasting was a hit with the table, but the pork belly hit flat with some.... More

Our waitress was very lifeless. Not horrible service but absolutely no personality....didn't even introduce herself and say her name. Food was mediocre at best. I had the carrot soup which wasn't soup at all. It was more like a puree which reminded me of baby food. I had scallops which were very salty and the sides that came with them... More

The space is cool, and the outdoor dining space is generous. Great lighting. Servers were very nice and attentive. Just wasn't impressed with the food, and at the price they are charging, it should be more flavorful. One of us had the salmon, and honestly, the lentils on the side tasted better than the fish. The word "slimy" was used.... More

We took a group of friends here and grabbed an outside table. Service was wonderful, and we all really enjoyed our meal. I have been here a number of times and always enjoy it. It's a little more expensive than I want it to be, but it's a nice splurge. I am sure I will be back.

We dined this week with friends at a new location (for us). Our pleasure is dining at places we haven't eaten at before. I must admit, I was a bit concerned when we pulled up in front of a converted gas station with roll-down garage doors for the service bays and all but once we were inside, our apprehensions dissolved... We came across Zinc by just walking by. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. The wine & beer selection held good options for my husband and I. While the menu is not long in list it offers healthy and tasty choices. We sat outside where we noticed the herbs and some vegetables growing. You can't get much fresher than... More

A very interesting experience. Quality food, attentive staff, nice atmosphere. The only thing keeping me from rating a very good four stars is the fact that each of the four diners, ordering three different items, requested specifically that their dish be done a level above chef suggested temperature. Alas, the two flat iron steaks came out totally different - one... More
