Just good good

Can't go wrong . Good soup. Sandwiches and salads. Consistently crowded. Simple is good! My favorite is a fresh arugula salad With white beans, roasted tomatoes, parm and lemon dressing.

What an excellent cafe! Thank you guys for taking such pride and putting so much effort into your work. It's so nice to find these Farm to Fork hidden gems and your food was so delicious.

Searching for some comfort food in mid-afternoon, I stumbled across this place right outside the UVA campus. BLTs should always taste this good! The bread was buttered and toasty to a nice crunch, the lettuce and tomato was fresh, and the bacon was wonderfully crisp. The price was a little high for a BLT, but worth it for one that... More

I always hesitated to go here because it's a soup place I'm not a soup person. After one visit I was hooked. Their sandwiches are great! Their staff is super friendly! And their soup is amazing! Everything they make is from quality ingredients. I love this place and highly recommend it!

In a little Side street of Charlottevile's Main street we found this lunchen place. Not a very attractive interior, but the food was great . Spicy checken- tortilla soup and a great 90's sandwich for a reasanoble price. No service, but get-it at the counter, no problem. Leave the place satisfied

This is the second time I've been to Revolutionary Soup and I am very glad I went for dinner again. My significant other and I ordered the turkey club wrap and 90's club; I also ordered the velvety lemon chicken soup. We were both very happy with our choices. I believe they have happy hour specials from 5-7 and close... More

A wonderful lunch spot Thoughtful sandwiches and soups - nothing boring or standard about the preparations. Unique ingredients and flavorings. Crowded with limited seating -- but worth the trip

This restaurant has an amazing website that would make anyone want to go, especially if you are into organic, healthy, natural ingredient food. Overall, the food is prepared fresh and is tasty, however, the restaurant is in a dingy and crowded basement. We sat near a door that people kept bringing food upstairs to another restaurant. The tables and bathrooms... More

Though I only live 50 or so miles away from Charlottesville this restaurant was a new find and one we will not soon forget....the tomato bisque is the best I have ever had and coupled with an amazing grilled cheese sandwich...you will leave very satisfied and happy!

If you want a quick lunch, or take home one, or several, of the best soups ever, this is your place... Fabulous rolls, an orange instead of chips, great selection of cool beers and wines, best croquet Monsieur (grilled cheese with a bit of bechamel) this side of the ocean. Music always in sync with the place. Of course not... More
