Great value for quality

A wonderful lunch spot Thoughtful sandwiches and soups - nothing boring or standard about the preparations. Unique ingredients and flavorings. Crowded with limited seating -- but worth the trip

This restaurant has an amazing website that would make anyone want to go, especially if you are into organic, healthy, natural ingredient food. Overall, the food is prepared fresh and is tasty, however, the restaurant is in a dingy and crowded basement. We sat near a door that people kept bringing food upstairs to another restaurant. The tables and bathrooms... More

Though I only live 50 or so miles away from Charlottesville this restaurant was a new find and one we will not soon forget....the tomato bisque is the best I have ever had and coupled with an amazing grilled cheese sandwich...you will leave very satisfied and happy!

If you want a quick lunch, or take home one, or several, of the best soups ever, this is your place... Fabulous rolls, an orange instead of chips, great selection of cool beers and wines, best croquet Monsieur (grilled cheese with a bit of bechamel) this side of the ocean. Music always in sync with the place. Of course not... More

This has become one of our favorite restaurants in Charlottesville. It's a good place for vegetarians and not, people who like spicy foods and those who don't, and those who want a lighter or heavier meal, and our group on a recent visit was a mixture of all of those. Since there are many unusual choices of soups, we're glad... More

The concept of this restaurant and the food here work well together. The idea of buying local produce, the quality of the food, and the service was exceptional. Heather, the girl that took our order, was very nice and her knowledge of the menu was impressive. I'll definitely be back to see what else this restaurant has to offer.

We've enjoyed quick lunches at Rev Soup for many years now. Often we dine here when we are in a hurry, maybe going to a movie or to something at the Paramount. "Quick" and "quality" are not mutually exclusive. The soups are first rate, as are the wraps, salads, and sandwiches. The variety can be a little mind-boggling, so prospective... More

I feel awful giving this place such a low rating but I can't lie. This was not a great experience despite the fact that they have WONDERFUL VEGETARIAN OPTIONS! There was no line....yet we waited for the longest time for our food to be prepared. I have no idea why soup, that is already made, would take twenty minutes...but it... More

When in a college town, we like to eat at some of the local joints that appeal to students....usually the food is simple and reasonable and we get a good feel for the local scene. This was the case with Revolutionary Soup when we ate there after a very long day at Monticello. A little hard to find but don't... More
