Very nice TexMex hidden in the corner of a corner hidden next to a higway ramp.

It's actually quite hard to get to Picante. Even if you see their sign on US-50WB at VA-28. You have to get in the parking lot a block back at the 7-11 and then wiggle yourself through the parking lot. Very weird. Anyway, they have great wholesome food. I loved their cheezified burrito and the... read more

This is a real gem located in Chantilly, VA. We went on a friends recommendation and were not disappointed. The salsa is homemade and very good. The tortilla soup was wonderful with fresh avocado pieces. The menu had a great selection, much more than just traditional burritos and tacos. I had a pollo con creama chipolata that was great. It... Great chips and salsa. Great service. The food? Well i ordered tacos de carne asada. They put chili flavor in the meat. Not flavorfull at all. If i wanted a bowl chili i would have ordered one. A millón times around the World carne asada and have never had chili flavored/seasoned. Co-worker rated his Pork dish a 6/10.

The place is cute with a nice ambiance but the food is dissapointing. The margaritas are a bit weak and the food is subpare. I got the tamales and they are possibly the most bland thing I've ever eaten. On the upside, bland doesn't mean it tastes bad; it simply tastes like nothing.

Had dinner here with friends. The server had no problem waiting for us to finally open the menus to order and offered to do separate checks at the end of the meal. Great food as always and wonderful margaritas and selection of tequila.

I eat here about once a month- traditional dishes are great. Jalapeno stuffed appetizer is wonderful, also try the Tortilla soup. Will make you want more. Kids love the beef soft tacos and enchiladas. The grilled ceggie platter and shrimp salad on greens are out of this world. Don't miss gge mexican cake and the chocolate cake- not what you'd... More

Visited based on the very good reviews here. The atmosphere is clean, bright, and festive. The service was excellent and pleasant, but of course there was only one other table of customers besides ourselves. The "individual" portion of beef fajitas was very large, possibly enough for two, and looked good...unfortunately the quality of the beef was average at best, first... More

I almost felt like I was back in Texas. The food is very good and inexpensive. The enchiladas are delicious with the "right" kind of cheese. Tacos come on a separate plate with an abundance of lettuce, tomatoes and cheese.

Thank you for the compliments on our enchiladas! This is a great way to know that we are doing it right with the cheese selection. If you liked the enchiladas, then you should try our fajitas from Tyler Texas! More

Ok so we ate at Picante two nights ago. The chile relleno was awesome. Dinner came out really fast. And the servers were friendly. The food was excellent the servers could learn a little English. Female server extremely hard to understand but was very kind and attentive.
