I went to dinner there on a Sunday evening. Good food. Decent service. However I received my meal AFTER everyone else had received their meal. Would have preferred to eat with the rest of my group but the food was delicious so it was ok. It got crowded right before we left so glad we came when we did. It's... More

Staying at a hotel near Dulles Airport overnight, we decided to try Thai Basil. We almost didn't find it. I'd read that it is tucked away in a strip shopping center, but I had no idea how tucked away. Our GPS kept telling us we were there, but we could not find the restaurant amid the confusing warren of businesses... More

Our family has dined at several Thai restaurants and must say our experience at Thai Basil in Chantilly is disappointing. Mrs. Nongkran Daks is a very good chef, however, the tableware, the hospitality and ambience seem to disappoint. Our family loves spicy hot and our food was a bit too hot with red chilli powder. Having dinner on chipped table... More

We were regulars at Grand Thai but they have since gone out of business. We googled the next closest Thai Food and Thai Basil popped up. My husband and I met here after work to try it out. The location is a bit tricky, as it is well hidden in a strip mall-esk location and there is some construction being... More

This isn't the best Thai Food I've ever eaten, but given that the place is located out in the suburbs, I give it higher marks. My green curry was bland, and my son had crispy duck that was better. The Pad Thai was quite tasty, but overall don't expect great food, but be happy you have a choice that's not... More

I have been to Thai Basil on numerous occasions over the past several years. I have never been disappointed with my lunch, but the three times I’ve been there for dinner it was not the same quality as lunch. I believe that the difference may be that Nonn, the owner, is there during the lunch service but not for the... More

I have eaten at many Thai restaurants all over the world, and I'm happy to report that this small restaurant located in a run-down strip mall 5 miles from my house is at the top of my list. Do not be deceived by the location. Do not come at lunch when it is crowded. The service is hurried and you... More

This has become our go-to Thai place for lunch. They have good service and the food has been consistently good. It is in a strip mall and hidden on the backside so you will need to look for it. The staff is very nice and always makes sure everything is alright with your meal. You should check them out and... More

Fast service, authentic dishes, real heat. Clean restrooms, friendly staff. We have tried numerous dishes and all have been first-rate. Best Thai food I have ever had and a consistent pick when we say "Where should we go for lunch?"

Love this place, it has been great and reliable for years now. As authentic as you can get in the suburbs. Nothing exotic but well prepared favorites.
