Do not judge this restaurant by it's storefront - inside it is quite nice. This was my first experience with Korean BBQ and the food served at this restaurant made me a believer. It was delicious and came with all sorts of delicious side dishes. The service was very prompt and friendly. I've been back since that first time and... More

We hadn't been there in a while and my wife wanted to go based on a previous experience. Appears the restaurant has gone downhill a bit. Several items on the menu they said they didn't have or ran out of, and the assorted side dishes were skimpy. Service was very slow. Just not a good experience.

We order four different types of Korean soups. However, the soup base was the same and not authenic. The four soups had a lot of MSG and made us thirsty the whole day. Third of the menu was not available. The only gave us a half bowl of rice with our meal. I am Korean and I have to say... More

I am visiting my son and his family here in Herndon, VA and have been craving Korean food for 8 months (Living abroad where there is no Korean restaurants). I ordered the seaweed salad, pork belly, and the steamed eggs. Everything was so delish especially the steamed eggs. Just the right touch of sesame seed oil. They were so light... More

I highly recommend the Haemul Pajun (seafood pancake) and L.A. Galbi + Doenjang Combo (beef), I have been here twice and haven't been disappointed yet.

After spending time in the Korea as a military member, I have to say this restaurant's bibimbap taste's just like Miss Kim's outside of Osan AB. I think I would be devastated if they ever closed their doors! The kimchi here is really good. They are open super long hours, and the food is good. If you've never had Korean... More

When I crave Korean food and want a good BBQ place, I go here. This place gives you a lot of side dishes, and they even have a server cook your food in front of you (fun for the kids to watch) as you enjoy your meal. It was not cheap, but it wasn't the most expensive Korean restaurant in... More

The place was quiet, but the food and service were very good. It's Korean Barbeque so they cook the food on a traditional gas barbeque in the middle of your table and give you lots of different sides to go with it. The mochi ice cream dessert is definitly worth it.

I occasionally get a take out from here if I get bored wirh other restaurants in the area. Each time i get pretty much the same stuff. Galbi tang(beef rib soup with rice) and yukgejang (spicy beef soup). There is nothing special about this place. The food is consistently average. I have no major complaint about their food. The atmosphere... More

This restaurant consistently offers great-tasting, authentic, fresh, and well-prepared food. We have many restaurants to choose from. But SWG wins for it's consistently good quality, flavor, and diversity in its menu. The service is always friendly and prompt. We having been going to SWG for years and have never had a bad meal. As a Korean, I've eaten at innumerable... More
