It was a quiet Saturday afternoon but a very pleasant environment. We were pleased to be able to switch the TV to Notre Dame.

One of the few places that was open when we were in Cape Charles. The food and atmosphere was very good.

My husband and I are visiting Cape Charles and liked Kelly's Gingernut Pub so much we have dined there twice in the past few days. The first evening we had the meatloaf special served with a wonderful bbq/tomato based gravy. It rivaled being some of the best we have eaten anywhere. Our second evening was on Monday for prime rib... More

We had dinner at this pub, located in a renovated bank building. Was a very popular place for visitors and locals. The food was delicious and more than could be eaten at one sitting. Wait staff was friendly and regularly checked in with us. Prices are very reasonable considering how much you get.

We were here several years ago and really had a good experience. This time the music was TOTALY to loud and the time to get your food was rediculas. About 45 minutes. I had a pub burger with cheese, wife had a crab and Brie burger, friends had a Reuben sandwich and a turkey wrap. All of the food was... More

This place used to be pretty good, but unfortunately, we have seen it go downhill in the past couple of years. The restaurant just looks and feels dirty and the food is no longer the caliber that it used to be. It's a shame because it is located in a cool old building that could have a lot of charm.... More

My husband and I recently stayed In Cape Charles for a week. If we were out walking or needed a place to kick back we'd head to Kelly's and have a cold beer, This pub has a great vibe. The bartenders are super nice as is the owner Gene who we had the opportunity to meet. As far as the... More

I had the best turkey wrap I believe I've ever had. Service was very good and the atmosphere was very period correct for an Irish pub. Restrooms, Mens room, very clean and very colorful Art. My friends had the half pound steamed shrimp each. They looked like 20-25s where I would have expected 12-15s. They were happy as they were... More

Ended out at Kelly's Gingernut Pub during a one day trip to the Eastern Shore. The waitress took great care of us while feeding us some delicious friend pickles washed down with some Speckled Hen beer. Well worth the stop.

Kelly's is housed in a renovated bank building - very well done. Wait-staff and bartenders are friendly & helpful. Sweet little bar, food is more than decent.
