Nice place to eat!

It took a few minutes to find and was extremely crowded when we got there. There were lots of people waiting. We found out that the next day there was a huge 100 mile bike race and the Cape Charles area was very busy. I had a delicious cup of She Crab Soup. It was so good that when I... read more

The food is absolutely great. I was tame and had a burger, but I did have fried pickles for an appetizer. It was superb. My family both had fish. After eating at several places on the shore during their stay, they all thought Kelly's had the best fish they tried. We were all impressed.

Ate at Kelly's twice while in Cape Charles. The atmosphere was what I expected of a pub; a little loud but friendly people. She crab soup was to die for as well as their other choices on the menu. Both days I went, they offered under $10 menu selections and each time I was not disappointed.

I have eaten here a few times, the food is very food. But the wait kills the experience. They never have the beer I want even when it is printed on the menu! I can see running out but when you ask for something else they're out of it too. This has happen every time I have gone there. I... More

Enjoyed a Saturday lunch here with friends during a weekend winter visit to the Eastern Shore of Virginia. Pub is in an old bank, with the high tin ceiling, exposed brick and safe door part of the pub.Sitting at the long bar looked inviting, but we sat in a high back booth. The pub offered 20 different interestingly named beers.... More

Kelly's has stepped up their game in town! Great golden crispy fries and and delicious perfectly toasted bun for my yummy sandwich!

Our waitress was terrific, the meal was outstanding! The atmosphere was charming. Whenever we go to Cape Charles, we will go to Kelly's.

The fish and chips were great! The Old Hen beer was great. Our friends met us on a rainy night in late December. Lots of laughs and a warm pub atmosphere.

I can only rate this as an average lunch spot. So many restaurants in Cape Charles were wonderful, so, it was surprising that the food was just ok. The waitress did not inform us of any specials, although we heard her tell another table of the specials of the day after our order had been placed.

I had one of the best corned beef Reuben's I've ever eaten. The corned beef was very high quality, the Russian dressing was just the right amount, flavorful Irish cheddar was liberally applied, and even the sauerkraut was just right without too much of a vinegary taste. Shecrap soup is a delicious specialty of the house, which is a renovated... More
