Ended out at Kelly's Gingernut Pub during a one day trip to the Eastern Shore. The waitress took great care of us while feeding us some delicious friend pickles washed down with some Speckled Hen beer. Well worth the stop.

Kelly's is housed in a renovated bank building - very well done. Wait-staff and bartenders are friendly & helpful. Sweet little bar, food is more than decent.

My husband and I have been visiting Cape Charles for about 5 years. Every time we are in town, we always go to Kelly's. We haven't ever had a bad meal. There is a nice variety of food for everyone. I love the steamed mussels that are frequently on special. I have read a few negative reviews and have to... More

Ordered their signature chicken cordon bleu dish which turned out to be lunch-meat ham wrapped around rubberized chicken plopped atop a mound of what I suspect were instant mashed potatoes. My husband's dinner: fried goat cheese dumped atop a mound of wilted greens. Wilted, as in old, expired, should have been thrown out instead of served. Compounding this was our... More

I really liked this local pub. The decor was great and the bartender and patrons were friendly. We didn't eat because we had already been out for dinner but the locals say its great!

gene runs a great establishment with great food and something for everyone. Its in an old bank and one can even dine in the vault. there is usually music on the weekends and during the winter it might be the only restaurant open since the others tend to close during the off season. I like the food a lot there.

My family and I were looking for a nice spot for our family of 5. My children are ages 9, 6 and 2, so I wanted a kid friendly place. So when I entered the doors of the pub, I saw a cool bar so I was not completely sure it was a kid-friendly restaurant. I wanted to know before... More

The Pub is in an old bank, which was a neat experience; however, the food was sub-par as was the service. The prices are also not what I would expect from a Pub, with the average dinner around $17 bucks or so. With limited options for dinner we got appetizers and split them - neither were great - bourbon glazed... More

We sat at the bar and had a great time. The drinks were great, but I really enjoyed the atmosphere. This was an old bank converted to a tavern. The food is supposedly excellent, but this was just a bar stop for us, on our way to dinner. Next time we visit Cape Charles, we will have a meal here.

It used to be an old bank and the old vault door gives that away to some incredible charm! They have a great selection of beer that avoids the large distributors and focuses on the micro brew - kudos to them for that! The bartenders were attentive and friendly but we didn't get a chance to try their food sadly.....will... More
