That old saying rings true with this establishment. What other beat up, rundown highway restaurant serves as good a meal? The front store is kinda fun to peruse, too, as the wine selection is worth a peek just to read the unique labels. These aren't bottles that you'll find at Total Wine! The eat in area looks like a greasy... More

This was our 8th annual guys golf trip to Bay Creek and we always hit it on Sunday on the way out. Winner of the trip buys so we load up. Everything is fried. One of those classic roadside dives in the middle of nowhere where the locals go after church all dressed up. Great desserts. New out-of-town owners took... More

With all the great reviews, my husband and I decided to stop here for breakfast on our way to OBX. My french toast was over cooked, chocolate brown in color instead of a nice golden brown. My husband had eggs that were fair at best, toast that was soggy, and french fries that were substituted for hash browns, since the... More

I have to say that I was disappointed with the food at Stingrays. The location and atmosphere of the restaurant was fine, but the price was a bit expensive and the food was overcooked. We had a party of four adults and four children and all of the food appeared to be cooked at too high a temperature. Total bill... More

Its a must stop when driving US13, great crab cake sandwiches, not lump crab meat but shredded. Friendly staff.

Excellent food in a place you would least expect it ... In the back room of a convenience store at a gas station on the eastern shore of Virginia. It is not glamorous ... It is not beautifully decorated. But the food is always great ... Tasty ... Cooked to perfection. The seafood is as fresh as can be. Definitely... More

I was a little nervous when I saw it was attached to a gas station, but the food was oh so yummy! I had the broiled crabcake which was practically all crabmeat and no filler. Plus they had all my favorite sides, collard greens, corn pudding, and hush puppies! Big portions, friendly service, and great food! A little pricey for... More

When you step into the cluttered store, you wonder why am I here. The answer is THE FOOD. Just follow the crowd of tourists, fishermen, truckers and horse van drivers to the back and you will find a group of new customers standing there reading the blackboards of all the dishes they offer. Just let the old hands go to... More

We have passed this place on the way home from OBX many times but never stopped. We came in for breakfast and it was average at best. I can overlook a lot of things, but I can not overlook dirty. All of our (4) food came out dark because of a flat top that was dirty. I will say that... More
