Good homecooked food

Their chicken and cornbread are both very good. The service is also good. It's a good place for lunch.

I could have never asked for a better home cooked meal!!! I am going through chemo and things just have not tasted too good!!! This was so good and had the best taste ever!!! It did my soul good to have such a wonderful meal!!! I asked to speak to the owner and when he came out, (Mark) I told... More

My husband and I ate dinner here after a friend of mine told me they had the best ribs in town. Well he was right! These ribs had lots of meat, were juicy, and the bbq sauce that I was told was the owners recipe was excellent! My husband had the bbq pork sandwich. It was also great. All the... More

Took our extended family here for Mother's Day. Was crowded so we had reservations. Service was friendly and prompt. We ordered a variety of dinners...fried chicken, meatloaf and others. All were very good but we all felt that the portions were slightly smaller than normal. We have three sons who can eat and they left a little hungry. Overall, was... More

I love this restaurant! It is definitely your place if you want to experience homemade food in a non-chain restaurant. They have soul food--mac n cheese, fried catfish, jerk chicken, collard greens, soup beans, corn bread, barbecue, banana pudding, etc. I highly recommend the fried catfish with collard greens, but it is all delicious :) You get a meat, two... Visited EATZ for lunch. Cafe is about 3 miles off the interstate but is well worth the detour. Meat and sides are outstanding, freshly homemade. The fried chicken, meatloaf, collards, mashed potatoes, cornbread and soup beans are prepared in the real authentic southern style. Highly recommended.
