Visited EATZ for lunch. Cafe is about 3 miles off the interstate but is well worth the detour. Meat and sides are outstanding, freshly homemade. The fried chicken, meatloaf, collards, mashed potatoes, cornbread and soup beans are prepared in the real authentic southern style. Highly recommended.

This place is hard to get to due to all the one-way streets... We parked two blocks north on the 113 and walked down Moore no problem. (HINT: see their Facebook page for a map and business hours -- "Eatz on Moore Street") This little hole-in-the-wall will certainly mislead you as to the food quality. First and foremost, their CORNBREAD... More

This restaurant has a limited mostly plate lunch. The food is mostly average sometimes good good. Service is adequate and timely. It suffers from being very noisy especially during the peak lunch hours. It is clean and sparcely decorated.

Came for lunch and had the catfish, mac and cheese, and green beans. Pretty average. Good food and nice people. The place was very clean and I had no wait. Was a little disappointed that the menu seemed like it didn't have a lot of selection. Also wish they had biscuits instead of cornbread to offer.

We ate there three times during the recent Rhythm and Roots. What else can I say? Great fried chicken, barbecue and greens. I'd skip the pinto beans - they are nothing special.

Not much of a crowd for race weekend, especially considering the buzz about this place. Place was clean and simply decorated. Staff was very friendly and engaging, food was very good. Cornmeal breaded catfish was spot-on, as was the cornbread and greens. The baked mac-n-chesse was a bit watery and bland, but they do offer it prepared another way, which... More

Simple, well prepared soul food. Everything I've eaten here has been great. The only negative is that they main have run out of some dishes for the day, but that's fine with me. The hours he keeps could be a little better too, but I understand because the owner seems to do most everything himself along with the help of... More

We were greeted with a smile and a friendly hello by the hostess. We got there right as it opened (not on purpose) and the place filled up fast. Our server, Morgan, was friendly and attentive. The menu selection was small, but It looked like the menu options change from day-to-day. Food was excellent. We had the fried chicken and... More
