While on a road trip in June, we stopped by because of the reviews and were very pleased with our meals. Since we are a larger family, I tasted quite a bit of the menu off of the kid's plates. The BBQ was delicious, I enjoyed the jerk chicken, although it was a thigh and I prefer white meat, the... More

This was our first time at Eatz. It came highly recommended by a friend and we weren't disappointed. We enjoyed great down home food in a comfortable atmosphere. Eatz is a family run restaurant. Our waiter was the owner's son and his service was friendly and attentive. My wife ordered the fried catfish and I decided to try the ribs... More

Read the reviews on here and had to give it a try. We were not disappointed. The staff was great, the atmosphere was nice and the food was wonderful. I had the catfish dinner with coleslaw and baked Mac & Cheese. The sides were good but the catfish was the star of the show. My husband had the BBQ platter.... More

When Eatz first opened in Bristol, my boyfriend and I were very eager to try it, and it did not disappoint. This was the first place I'd ever eaten at which could reproduce the kind of food my grandparents used to make: collard greens, meatloaf, banana pudding and other southern classics. I remember us going all-out and ordering ribs and... More

This was hands down, the BEST fried catfish I have ever eaten. It was fresh, lightly coated in a corn batter and perfectly crisp on the outside yet tender and juicy in the middle. The sides (collard greens and Mac) were delicious, though my coworker ordered the black beans, and they were the clear winners in my book. The owner... More

We decided to have a late lunch at Eatz on Moore Street because of the reviews we had read here on Trip Advisor and we were not disappointed. The food was absolutely amazing.....three of us had Lisa's fried chicken & I added mashed potatoes, mac and cheese and cornbread to mine. I enjoyed every bite and left absolutely nothing on... More

Since we are always on the lookout for family owned businesses when we travel we decided to try what turned out to be a little gem. The menu is limited but still provides a variety of things to choose from. They even have vegetarian items.. While we waited for our food we were blessed to have conversation with the owners.... We came in on a Friday afternoon shortly after 12:00 to this little hole in the wall (and I mean that as a compliment) eatery on Moore St. The place doesn't have many tables, but it's interesting that three of their tables could easily accommodate six people. There was no waiting on this day, so we were promptly seated and... More

I love this restaurant! My husband and I along with another couple stopped in one day for lunch because we'd read favorable reviews about it. The owner was so friendly and helpful as we debated what to order. My husband ordered the jerk chicken, and I had fried catfish with sides of mac and cheese and collard greens. Whoa mama!... More
