Great for Breakfast!

The breakfast selection is typical but the food is very good quality and tasty - and the price is right. I should mention that several years ago I had about the worst lunch ever there and swore I would never return. They are now under new ownership, and I am glad I tried them again!

Saw a big crowd outside and said let's try this place -- it must be good!! We were told the wait would be 15 minutes -- turned out to be 55 minutes! We sat down, ordered and then waited some more. And some more, and some more -- 45 minutes before our food came out. It was good - OK,... More

Joe's has great breakfast. it's cheap and fast and no-frills. However, their hours are inconsistent. They used to be 24/7, but I think they close at 2 p.m. now. Check before you go.

I'm a Virginia tech student and when my dad found this place for breakfast I couldn't picture where it was because I had never heard of it nor noticed it when walking by. Its a hole in the wall diner but my family and I were all impressed with the friendly and fast service, as well as the great food!... More

Had to wait a little for seating for a party of seven, but it was worth the wait. Great breakfast menu in the old diner style. Bacon was tasty, eggs perfect, gravy and biscuts very tasty, grits a bit runny. Yep I had it all. Very good service. Will be back

I used to eat here on the late night all the time when I lived in Blacksburg, and you could go in there and get a meal to fill you up after a long night for $5 or less. It's also a neat little spot, like a throwback diner, but I haven't been there in years.

The food is great! Every time I visit Blacksburg I make sure I stop at Joes diner for breakfast. The staff is wonderful! The place could use a fresh coat of paint.
