Great Asian Food in the NRV

We love great Chinese (like China town San fran, Boston, etc)) .. Best place in the NRV for dumplings and buns.. The sauce is priceless as is the cost for your snack (3.50$ dumplings and 2.50$ Barbeque pork buns) 1$ Soda. Wish they had rice or a hot noodle, but so happy to have authentic Asian... read more

Food's not bad but you can save some $$$ by buying and cooking the same brand dumplings and buns found at local international markets

They usually give me more than 6 dumplings per order. Any one of the menu items is a good "snack" size, for me. The Pork Bao Bun (Steam Bun) is a favorite of mine from lunch-time when I worked in San Francisco's China Town, long ago. The Filipino co-worker who introduced them to me used to "peel" them, starting from... More

The sauce for their dumplings is amazing!!!!!! They cook dumplings to perfection. I always buy couple boxes ( come in 6) home when I visit BlAcksburg. The only thing I don't like on the menu is the hot and sour soup. It s way too sour for me besides that it is a great spot!!!

Nice lunch at Marco and Luca. Handmade dumplings with plum sauce and the cold noodles w/ sauce and apples were excellent. Very reasonable pricing. Quick, friendly service. If you want something different from your usual meal, give this place a chance. Will definitely be back.

I had lunch at Marco and Luca and yes, the dumplings were good, but they weren't anything out of this world. The prices are low and the service is fast and friendly. The hot and sour soup had a strange taste to it, but overall, average.

Great place, originating from Charlottesville, VA. Cheap prices for a lot of food, and they usually give you more then just 6 dumplings when you order. Dumplings are the best thing here, enjoy the egg drop soup, not a huge fan of the cold noodles. Definitely will be back time and time again.

You have to try the dumplings. They are terrific and so is the noodle dish. Great value for the price.

My son (a VA Tech Grad Student) had discovered Marco & Luca and raved about its signature dumplings. I silently thought "What could be so special or different with a dumpling?" Then when visiting the University for Graduation Weekend in May ... it all became crystal clear. In unpretentious location at the University Mall - just down from Tech's Infamous//Famous... More
