I have been to T Flynn's Pub with family and friends at least 3 times. I always get the fish and chips!! The fish is beer battered and you get 3 good portions, the chips are cut from a real potato and everyone knows that THE IRISH know their potatoes!! The price is $8.95. And I have had the bread... We love the idea of a good Irish Pub in Blacksburg, but this place does not fit the bill. The food is not consistent, and not really Irish fare. The people are nice, but the place can get very noisy. Will probably not return for a bit until we hear that there are improvements.

T. Flynn's is a gem in the middle of Blacksburg. We were there on a weeknight. I had a Guinness- which was just the right temperature and perfectly pulled. We had onion rings for starters-- Oh My Gosh!!!! These are the best onion rings I've had in my entire life, and I've eaten a LOT of onion rings. The hand-batter... More

The food is a sad, sports bar interpretation of Irish pub food. Can't recommend it. They do have a great selection of beers and a wonderful deck, but parking is impossible....beware the possibility of being towed from the bank lot.

We've visited T Flynn's twice now during happy hour. Beer and appetizers are half price until 6 pm, an amazing deal. Excellent beer choices at a rock bottom price. But - first off, it was extremely noisy. With wood floors, walls, tables, and bar, there's absolutely nothing to absorb the sound. We had to shout in each others' ears to... More

Being the avid traveler I am, I love to try out Irish pubs in the towns that I visit. T. Flynns Pub is not an Irish Pub no matter how many times they change their name. T. Flynns is just another mediocre bar in the burg. It has not even been open for 12 months and it already reeks of... More

TERRIBLE PARKING!! Do not park across the street, or at the bank next door, or you will be TOWED!! The stew and soda bread was okay. The shepherds pie tasted like it was scalded. If you just want a beer or something, its fine.

T Flynn's has a great selection of beers of tap, you can even get a flight of beers if you want to try several! Best fish and chips I've had in a long time!!! Parking is a problem, but is say its definitely worth it. Really pretty restaurant and great service. Will definitely be returning.

Really a nice building. Excellent indoor and outdoor atmosphere. Very "pubby." but difficulty parking and mediocre food made the trip not worth the effort. Currently under new ownership (and management), the food is measurably better (although the chips, which were a bright spot under the old ownership, have now gone somewhat limp instead of crispy). The stews and pies are... More
