Lefty's is a great restaurant in Blacksburg. In a town where the dining scene is dominated by steak houses, college bars, and burger joints, Lefty's offers a creative and fresh menu. The decor/ambiance are terrible, but the food is great, well-made, fresh, and creative. Excellent beer selection, eclectic menu, and consistently good service. One of the best restaurants in Blacksburg.

My husband & I ate here while visiting Blacksburg, VA for the first time. When we came in we saw that almost all the tables were full, with good reason. The food was fantastic. They have burgers but with unique and delicious options like goat cheese and so forth. The service was fast and friendly. They also had a nice... More

...Contrary to my previous visits, the food delivered on all levels. Despite not using a bun, the sourdough was toasted and thick enough to stand up to the solid amount of juice oozing out of the cooked cow. No soggy bottoms here. The beef was juicy and perfectly cooked to my preferred medium rare. And the toppings all worked together... More

Lefty's is a small restaurant and you aren't prepared for the superior quality of the food that you are about to be served. The Cobb Salad is one of the best I've ever had and the sandwiches are delicious. Whenever we are travel 81 corridor from Tennessee to Virginia, we try to plan our trip so we can get to... More

We have made Lefty's part of our yearly ritual when we visit West Virginia. We like to eat on the patio, drink cold beer and enjoy the best sandwiches and fixins in the area. Be sure to try the bottlecaps (fried pickles) and check the time because they close after lunch on Saturday.

Soups, salads, sandwiches, a burgers that will spoil you away from fast food burgers, and I loved their Salmon. I met with friends there when in town. Lefty's also has and outdoor patio area for dining or just have a drink. I really did eat potato chips, then I had them made fresh at Lefty's with a few beers, and... More

Lefty's is the best kept secret in Blacksburg. They have great salads, entrees, and sandwiches. The soup is always something unusual and tasty. Their sides are adequate, lacking on variety, but flavorful. The beer selection is good for such a small place. Table seating is limited and there is no bar.

The atmosphere isn't much to enjoy. The food isn't that exciting either. One trip was enough for me.

It's been a while since I have been there, but the service was slow, food greasy and over-priced. Not a fan and will not go back.
