That's an amazing place! Among Asian oriental restaurants this one is simply the best. We come here once a week and whenever we have someone visiting us, we bring them here. There are few servers working there so that you know everyone after you come here several times. Each of them is super sweet and very welcoming. They work fast... More

Dinner this evening with spouse. Ordered drunken noodles and Vietnamese pork with rice. Service was very quick, despite full of customers. Excellent taste to both, and moderately priceed. Both spiced very well. A new favorite in Blacksburg!

After a long trip, nothing more comforting than a bowl of pho. Came across Cafe Mekong while doing a google search during our stay in Radford. Everyone knows when you go to a restaurant close to their closing time, you get a very rushed service but not here. The gentleman who took care of us was great, by the way... More

Thai and Viet food in a simple setting. When I am one only a few Americans in the room, I know it's authentic oriental cuisine. I end up getting the same selections because my mouth starts watering for the same thing when I enter the door.

The best Thai and Vietnamese food this side of San Francisco.the Singapore Noodles, the Bun, the Pho are all just excellent choices as are several of the appetizers. The chefs and the staff are attentive and will cook the meals custom for their customers. A friendly and pleasant place to enjoy lunch or dinner. Choose several different dishes, enjoy the... More

I Have dined here twice. The first time was with a large group and they had no trouble accommodating us and the food was brought out in a timely fashion. The other time was quite busy but we still had good service even thought it was just the two of us. The food was great both times It was worth... More

Finally tasty Thai style food in Radford/Christansburg/Blacksburg area! Not sure how authentic my drunken noodles were but very tasty with spicy sauce and well cooked and well seasoned beef. Nice option to the proliferation of chains. Food is the focus in the no-frills dining room but service was friendly and efficient -- definitely recommend!

I came across this relatively new restaurant while dropping children at Virginia Tech and I am so happy I did!! This is one of those places that smells wonderful when you walk in and the food does not disappoint. I went once for carry-out and then came back with husband and another couple. We all enjoyed our selections including one... More

I have eaten Thai and Viet food from all over the world and I am also from an area where Viet and Thai food are very authentic and delicious. I have to start off by saying I'm glad they decided to bring an ethnic restaurant to this area and while it is still a work in progress, I am excited... More

I've eaten at Cafe Mekong twice now (once for take-out) and both times, the food was prepared perfectly. The flavors they use are incredible, and almost addictive! Service has always been fast and friendly and the prices are very reasonable for such wonderful food. We will return again and again.
