My favorite spot in Blacksburg!

I love The Cellar's food. You can't go wrong with their pita pizzas. The cucumber dip and pita is an excellent app, too. I really like the atmosphere, but things can get very crowded upstairs if it is a special weekend in bburg. The outside seating is a nice option, too. The service can be wishy... read more

I guess if you're a college student meeting up with friends this would be a great place to chat it up while eating/drinking. As a visitor ordering dinner, it can be a bit daunting.... The restaurant is part of a strip of store-fronts with very minimal parking out front. Most customers would probably need to go around and park behind... More

We stopped during the street festival and the place was packed. The food was good, service was excellent. The only complaint was that their beer was warm. The waitress offered to bring my husband ice for his beer.... not ideal.

I recently wrote a review praising the location for their excellent food and service from our first visit, right after my husband and I moved to the area. However, our last 3 visits have featured terrible service from servers. The food was great every time, however in order to get the food, we have had to patiently wait 20-25 minutes... More

Food is very tasty. Service is good but can be a little slow when crowded. We eat there every time we visit. Good value.

I was staying at the Main Street Inn and walked down the road to The Cellar. It was very crowded so I couldn't sit outside. I sat the bar, instead and ordered a Greek Veggie Sub and a Harp. Perfect! I could see making this a permanent hangout. The only weird thing was the barstool was kinda low. Maybe it... More

My husband and I recently moved to Blacksburg and so far this is the best local restaurant we have found. Their food is mostly sandwiches, which are really good. They do have salads and meals, too, but we always flip to the sandwich part of the menu right away. The drinks are cheap, and the service is almost always great!... More

Went for lunch while on business in Blacksburg. I got the personal pizza, which was really about a 10" pizza. Could choose any 3 toppings for a lunch special. Pizza was very good but too much for me to eat and unfortunately I had no way to take it with me!

Great as always. The beer is great and the food is fantastic. Even the service is good now. My favorite place in Blacksburg.

We recently spent a day in Blacksburg, Virginia, and had dinner at The Cellar. A family member lives and works in Blacksburg and recommended the spot. It did not disappoint. We sat in the downstairs section, at a booth in the corner. It has a real college-town vibe, with lots of selections of beer and a large menu. The food... More
