In town for a long weekend and decided to try The Cellar. It's in a great location, and definitely has a really local feel. Really extensive beer and mixed drink list. The food was pretty good, lots of sandwiches, calzones and pizzas, although they do have entrees. The upstairs is more of a restaurant, while the downstairs is a bar.... More

The cellar has great and reasonably priced food along with a large variety of drinks. My friends and I were out celebrating New Year's Eve and had a wonderful time here. I loved the tortellini and everyone in my group seemed to enjoy the meals they ordered as well!

The Cellar Restarant offers some pretty amazing Greek Food for Blacksburg, VA! We loved the entrees we had on a very busy college football game day lunch! The soup and sandwich I had was delicious! My son had a chicken parm sandwich that he said was excellent! Others dining with us had Greek salads and soup, too. We loved the... More

The service was excellent and the staff was very helpful. The pizza was good but not spectacular, but the staff more than made up for that by keeping glasses constantly full, etc. On further review, I would have tried several other items before having the gyro pizza. But I would definitely go back there again.

Went for lunch and the food was quite good with a limit to mostly sandwiches. However this is a college town. The food was good and the servings were large. We found our Calzones over cooked but the inside was still moist so we peeled the crust away and enjoyed the inside. Prices were on the high side and the... More

My husband introduced me to this awesome spot while we were dating and he attended VT. Always tasty and service has always been good, even on game days when the place is swamped. They used to have a cordon bleu sandwich which was crazy good, but the last time we were there we didn't see it on the menu, so... More

My son and I ate at the Cellar because we were told they had gluten free pizza--and they do, but not lactose free cheese (yes, I know, not ideal diet but what can you do--if you are allergic, you are allergic). I had a small pizza and my son had a gluten free meal. I can't figure out what the... More

Told by locals to check out The Cellar. My husband and I ate there for lunch after a meeting I had on the VT campus. Great food!! Loved the BBQ Chicken Calzone. Can't wait to eat there again!! Service wasn't overly great but it was still an overall great experience.

The food was quite good but the place was packed and loud, as you would expect in a college town. We generally like quiet dining but this was recommended to us so we thought we'd give it a try.

We stopped here on our Texas-> NYC roadtrip at the suggestion of my sister, who went to Virginia Tech. We loved the vibe and combination of beer vendor and restaurant immediately upon walking in. I had the large greek salad with chicken, we shared the hummus plate, and my fiancé had the Greek pasta. Everything was really great and the... More
