Loved the grilled fish!

In town for college tour @ VT - wanted a nice (non-fast food) quick and affordable place to eat, with a college atmosphere. This place was perfect! Got the mexi mahi mahi burrito to go with a side of rice and beans. The restaurant was not busy. It's got a good college vibe and a decent bar. They offered me a drink while I waited which is always nice. The burrito was quite good. Will be back the next time I'm in Blacksburg.

I've visited this place many times. Great outdoor seating in the warmer months. Nice atmosphere inside when cooler. Used to visit Ensenada and Cabo when I was in college in SoCal many moons ago. The tacos made here are as good as any I've had anywhere. I know, "fish taco" doesn't stir your appetite if you've never had one. But... More

So much to love here! The shrimp tacos are a must try. The beer-battered and soy ginger are my favorites. There are also several vegetarian dishes on the menu -- the Burrito Verde is gigantic. Taking home half makes for an awesome lunch the next day. Margaritas range from a standard House style to much-pricier blends. I'm a cheap margarita... More

Went there for the first time and will definitely go back. My soy ginger shrimp taco was delicious. Menu has enough choices to satisfy any appetite. I ate at the bar and was given good service. Atmosphere was rustic. Oudoor seating available, but not when I was there due to weather conditions. It is located downtown near the university with... More

I had the Soy Ginger Shrimp Taco. It was unbelievable. My mouth is watering thinking about it. I look forward to going back the next time I'm in Blacksburg. The beer battered shrimp was so juicy and tasty.

I so wish you were good, cabo! I've eaten here periodically over the past 6 years. Usually when a friend wanted to go. Each time I decide to give it another shot and once again it'll disappoint. Oh well. When it's nice outside, it's a fun place to grab a drink. But skip the lackluster food.

I ordered the Buffalo Garlic Shrimp Tacos which remind me of hot chicken wing sauce. You have a choice of sides such as beans/rice, jalapeno mashed potatoes, refried beans, etc. It was so delicious that I went back the next night and ordered them again!! Would recommend the jalapeno mashed potatoes to go with these tacos. Must warn you that... More

I miss the yummy sauces that I used to enjoy on my chicken tacos. I don't eat fish, but that never stopped me from enjoying Cabo Fish Taco. There's nothing better than a Blacksburg summer night, especially out on Cabo's patio!

We went here a few years ago when Cabo first opened and it was great. Last month we decided to go back before a concert downtown. My husband had the Epic Tuna burrito, the flavors were flat, tuna was overcooked and fishy and the sauce was disgusting, his side was Nopolito salad that was uninteresting. He couldn't finish his meal... More
