Oh cabo

I so wish you were good, cabo! I've eaten here periodically over the past 6 years. Usually when a friend wanted to go. Each time I decide to give it another shot and once again it'll disappoint. Oh well. When it's nice outside, it's a fun place to grab a drink. But skip the lackluster food.

I ordered the Buffalo Garlic Shrimp Tacos which remind me of hot chicken wing sauce. You have a choice of sides such as beans/rice, jalapeno mashed potatoes, refried beans, etc. It was so delicious that I went back the next night and ordered them again!! Would recommend the jalapeno mashed potatoes to go with these tacos. Must warn you that... More

I miss the yummy sauces that I used to enjoy on my chicken tacos. I don't eat fish, but that never stopped me from enjoying Cabo Fish Taco. There's nothing better than a Blacksburg summer night, especially out on Cabo's patio!

We went here a few years ago when Cabo first opened and it was great. Last month we decided to go back before a concert downtown. My husband had the Epic Tuna burrito, the flavors were flat, tuna was overcooked and fishy and the sauce was disgusting, his side was Nopolito salad that was uninteresting. He couldn't finish his meal... More

My son and i ate here during our recent visit to Blacksburg and i was very happy with our lunch. The waitress brought out a pico with roasted corn and chips to snack on while we looked at the menu. The restaurant has a dark, casual, and rustic feel. Our waitress was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. I can't remember... More

This restaurant is located right across the street from Va. Tech. We had great tacos and salads. Everything was super fresh and delicious. Very reasonably priced.

The service at this restaurant was very friendly and prompt, and half of the tables were filled with college students. It seemed popular, as it's right on Main Street. Our tacos came fast, but maybe too fast. They tasted reheated. I hope this was just because it was the Sunday before Thanksgiving.

I really wanted to love this place like so many have before me. Although this was my first time there my husband had eaten there twice before and loved it. So on his recommendation we stopped here for lunch on our way to Mountain Lake Lodge. Service was great. The chips and the corn salsa were ok. The salsa was... More

Great place for Tacos. Very casual, college atmosphere. Chips and guacamole were delicious. I had the Mahi Mahi tacos which were delicious. I loved the fact that there were no onions on the tacos. Dishes served with a choice of a side. The Black beans and rice hit the spot. Most dishes not more than 12 dollars. Great amount of... More

Cabo is not only one of my favorite restaurants in Blacksburg, but one of my favorites in general. Every time I have a visitor at Tech I take them to Cabo. The ambiance and decor are unique, fun music, selection of margaritas, creative sides, and amazing tacos. I've never ordered an appetizer since you get a hearty corn and tomato... More
