The place is usually packed for the live music saturday brunch, but it is well worth it. The food is delicious, the coffee is tasty, and don't forget to take a look at their bakery treats. They are a bit pricey for Blacksburg, but the taste and quality more than make up for it. It's the only place in town... More

This is a good local restaurant to catch up with people you know. The deserts in the bakery are delectable, as are the croissants. I find the breads a little doughy at times but the baguettes are crusty and delicious. The cafe has a variety of good dishes and quiches, and the coffee is very good. Choose wisely from the... More

Have been here a few times, usually for brunch on a weekend. The food is great and their options to choose from are plentiful. I really enjoy their soups, they always seem to be something creative and with unexpected flavor. I would say that it always feels a bit hectic inside. There is not much seating, and if it gets... They had live music when I visited. Nice place for quiet conversation both inside and out when the weather permits. Food is great. Make sure you take some of their fresh bread home. Also usually a selection of "day old bread" at a discount.

Best bakery items in Blacksburg, hands down. Imaginative lunch specials. Quality consistently high. Very clean.

After reading the reviews we were expecting better. Our food was cold, which doesn't make for very tasty eggs. The bacon was under cooked, and the potatoes lived up to their garlic name, but were quite greasy. The best thing we had was a multigrain pancake, which I ordered in place of toast. I wished I had just ordered the... More

Love this place, and it is very reminiscent of a bakery and cafe I visited in the south of France in the quality, of it's in house bakery and excellent dishes, yet it is all American and a favorite of the local community. The serve delicious dishes for ever palate, and their coffees are tasty, as I also enjoy an... More

Our Daily Bread is a combination of bakery/cafe/pastry shop/restaurant all rolled into one location. Ironically, it is located in an old, rather unattractive strip mall. They also distribute bread to markets and restaurants around the region, including selling their loaves at the Roanoke Natural Foods Co-Op. Nicole and I had stopped in once before just to see the inside of... More

From the outside, one could not have guessed that such a nice little place was hidden in a half-abandoned strip mall. Breakfast and coffee are good (the roasted rosemary red potatoes are OK, though a little underdone in my opinion), but their bakery shelves hold high-quality breads, cakes and a wide variety of other treats that won't be found for...
