I think this is a great take out place. Not a lot of seating, but everything is wonderful. Breakfast, specialty lunch items, pastries, cakes, etc. It is all great. A great place to pick up that special dessert for an event.

I always love trying something new here when I'm in the area, but love the breakfast and coffee. Indoor/outdoor seating and live music creates a nice atmosphere.

This restaurant is reminiscent of a typical French cafe and bakery. Many of the dishes are exactly like those I have gotten in Paris at sidewalk bistros, which is a refreshing change of pace for this part of Virginia. Just like some French dishes, I find a few of the items a bit bland - I wish the house vinaigrette... More

This place is fantastic. They offer fantastic breakfast and lunch including waffles, omelettes, bagels, etc. in addition to a vast array of baked goods. We go to ODB every time we are in town to visit our daughter at Virginia Tech. The prices are less expensive than we typically see in CT. The best thing about this place is "the... More

This place was recommended by a VA Tech student and we got some breakfast food to go on our way out of town. We got the quiche and southwestern egg strata to go. Delicious!

Came just before lunch hour rush! It was a good thing as they do get busy. Tried spinach and feta quiche. Normally they heat it with a microwave but that way makes the pastry soggy. They heated the quiche in the oven which meant waiting a few extra minutes but it was worth it! Delicious and just right. Good food... More

I've been here a couple of times for breakfast/lunch. It's a little pricey but not too outrageous and you definitely get amazing food. I've had the tomato soup (pretty much the best I've ever had), the spinach-feta quiche, and a ham sandwich on a baguette. I've also picked up a couple of their desserts (macarons and a layered chocolate trifle... More

When I lived in Blacksburg I had an ODB addiction. Their pastries are all very good. The chicken salad is the best I've had, even better than moms. The place seems to get crowded around lunch time, so late morning is a good time to go to avoid the crowds. Also, they are next door to Campus Emporium (hokie stuff)... More
