Fast service. Good food. Favorite among the Locals. Do not be seated next to a table of 25 - tends to be noisy.

Olde Liberty Station is our MOST favorite restaurant. The food is always hot, fresh, and delicious. The owner's wife decorates the entire restaurant for the seasons. The staff are professional, knowledgeable, efficient, and friendly. The station itself is the original site of where the "Bedford Boys" left for WW II. If you are passing through Bedford you can't let the... More

We visited this restaurant on a Saturday for lunch. The website for it said that they didn't open until 12 but we arrived about 11:45 am and people were already going in. We were seated right away, but after about 12:30 pm, people had to wait for a table. The restaurant is an old railroad station, kind of. The original... More

My wife and I, along with 20 other riders, were camping at the KOA Campground in Monroe, Virginia and wanted to eat here. The restaurant is an old train station that is now a restaurant. The inside of the restaurant is beautiful and loaded with historic pictures of the past. The service was friendly and they got all our orders... More

Olde Liberty Station in Bedford, Virginia is a wonderful restaurant located in the train station near the Elks National Home. Year in and year out, Liberty Station provides a fantastic meal for the price. Nowhere else in a 50+ mile radius can you get prime rib as good as what is served at Liberty Station. The salad with the meal,... More

I was with a group of twelve, so our service was likely slower than usual, especially since we did not have reservations in advance. Our waiter was very friendly and did his best, but our group seemed to overwhelm the kitchen. Food was simply adequate - not bad, but nothing to brag about either.

This restaurant, located in a refurbished train station, has done a wonderful job of creating a nice dining atmosphere. Staff are terrific: knowledgeable and helpful. They serve a bowl-baked bread mixture with the meal, and today they featured a cherry butter spread (!). They have a wonderfully diverse menu, but we were looking for a good burger, so that's what... Good food and not overly pricey. If you are a train enthusiast, this is a must visit! Our server was very enthusiastic and attentive.
