So I'll admit it was late, we were on our way to our B&B and looking for anyone who served food after a very long but beautiful hike to McAfee Knob. This was the first restaurant we saw. We were so glad we found it. I had trout while my husband had steak. Everything was fresh and absolutely delicious. The... More

We read the great reviews and were curious since we were staying nearby. It doesn't look like anything special from the outside, but don't let it deceive you. We were driving by and took our chances stopping in without a reservation. The restaurant was full, but the hostess kindly offered us a table on the covered porch. We ordered Caesar... More

Brought my friends here on 8/2/14. Nina was our server, and Charlotte was close by checking on us. I've been to many restaurants over the years and this is ONE of the best. I had the Salmon and my wife and friends had the Steak Diane. It was made perfectly, and the whole meal was outstanding. I did make reservations... More

We had a delicious meal at this tiny, out of the way place, worth the extra few miles! Wonderful shrimp, quail, and chicken dishes. The mussels as an app. were perfectly done. Yummy bread too. We sat outside on a lovely deck and enjoyed a family of kittens who played at our feet. Check it out!

We had two of the best martinis ever to start our evening in the welcoming atmosphere of this marvelous eatery. The trout was succulent, the poutine a treat, and I'll dream about the fried oysters in the "deviled egg dipping sauce". I ended my meal with profiterole….D-freaking-licious!

We've heard people rave about the Millstone Tea Room for years, but this was our first trip out. Beautiful drive out with the setting sun. When we arrived, the fire was going in the wood stove, and we were greeted warmly. It was the perfect night for the tomato bisque, which came with the entree. The trout was perfectly cooked... More

Hidden Gem! Very intimate! Excellent food and service. Great for any occasion. Only complaint, they make the best pear martini's, but every time we go, they are always out of the ingredients. Wish they would keep the ingredients in stock.

One of our favorite restaurants around the Roanoke area. Seasonal menu changes based on what's in the garden and available locally. Farm-to-table place. Nice wine and craft beer selection. French bread w/ homemade butter is a nice start. I love all of their seasonal gnocchi variations. Fried chicken is a staple. Shrimp and grits very good. Steaks are always tasty... More

WOW! I had no idea Bedford had this caliber cuisine. Very, very good. Sunday brunch was truly a treat, a meal I won't soon forget.

Simply perfect. This cute and quaint restaurant is about 12 miles/15 minutes north of Centertown Bedford and worth the short drive! It exceeded our expectations in every way. We knew it would be good, but we were blown away. The service was outstanding and the food was unbelievably delicious. We went for Sunday brunch and got the Tomato Bisque, Steak... More
