Worth the drive, this unassuming little cabin of a restaurant served one of the best Sunday brunch meals I have ever tasted! Fresh ingredients all prepared with love are the obvious features of this place. The appetizer size baguette with garlic and basil was incredible. The fresh rainbow trout was served atop cheese grits accompanied by steamed, seasoned fresh spinach. Absolutely... More

I have dined here for dinner and brunch several times. Ingredients are locally sourced and always good. Definite date night location. Expect a relaxing country drive and charming old farmhouse setting.

Loved the grouper and lobster bisque with bok choy. What a way to celebrate the new year in a classy atmosphere!

The food is out of this world! Then comes the service! Wow! Close to Cedar Post Inn and it felt like I was at home.

We recently enjoyed Sunday brunch at this charming restaurant nestled in the Blue Ridge mountains between Lynchburg and Bedford. Whenever we go--at least three or four times a year--we feel as if we are in the European countryside with Michelin stars dancing nearby. The restaurant has a cottage-y atmosphere, with rustic decor and large windows offering views of the pastures... More

This place is amazing! The meals are consistently exquisitely prepared. It is small, with an intimate feel. We have chosen this establishment many times for birthdays and out of town guests. Reservations are a must to avoid disappointment. It's just a little out of town, but easy to find.

On our recent jaunt to Bedford for a little hiking along the Parkway and a visit to the National D-Day Memorial, my wife and I enjoyed a Saturday night meal at the Tea Room. It was a nice treat on a wet, rainy night. We were well treated by several members of the wait staff, enjoyed an appetizer of bacon... More

while visiting Bedford we journeyed out to the Millstone Tea Room for dinner. Worth the drive, although it is not that far. Very reasonable prices and the food was off the scale. We started with dates wrapped in bacon. My wife had the shrimp and grits and I had salmon with vegetables. The veggies looked like a picture and they... More

I found this restaurant on line and it looked awesome so my wife and I decided to try it. I live over an hour away so we left early and arrived about 5:30 and as we walked in we were told that the entire establishment had been reserved for a party but "please come back again". I drove for an... More
