I've been going to the Mount Snow area for over 20 years and this is the best restaurant in the area. The food and service was second to none. We learned that the chef and most of the staff have only been there for the past year. Our server, Robin, was excellent and everything we ordered was prepared deliciously by... More

We went here twice this week, once for Sunday brunch with our son and his friend and once as just a couple for dinner. Excellent food, friendly, knowledgable and efficient service, not polished, but more fun. On Sunday we sat outside with a lovely view and the bar was open and we had hand-crafted cocktails. Two of our group on Sunday... More

We arrived in town from a 6 hour trip. It was our 11 year anniversary and I wanted to go to dinner some place special. The White House was suggested by the hotel staff. My wife and I arrived at the White House and were greeted by the friendliest staff. We were promptly seated. The waitress was outstanding in presenting... More

My wife and I went to the White House with my sister and her husband on 8 March 2014. When we walked in my sister went up to the hostess and informed her that we had a reservation. The hostess looked at my sister as if she somehow annoyed her but we were seated promptly and our waitress came over... More

Dining at the White House inn was one of the best dining experiences we have ever had in Vermont. The atmosphere is New England elegant, the reciting of the menu was gloriously entertaining, the service top notch, but most of all the food was scrumptious. What a joy!!!

We researched the whitehouse Inn and were excited for a special evening. Tonight's dinner, although nice, did not live up to those expectations. The inn itself is beautiful and the wait staff attentive, and charming. We found the menu was limiting and the wine list severely cut back from what was presented on line. For the most part, the dishes... More

I liked everything about this place. It's a classic old Inn that's been impeccably maintained with lots of love. We stayed in a suite and it was amazing. Really nice. The meals were fantastic. Do NOT miss a stop at the bar. Quintessential Vermont.

We had reservations two weeks upon arrival. We waited 20 minutes to be seated. We ordered a bottle of wine for the table and it took 20 minutes before it arrived. We were told they had to chill it.In my opinion the wine in a $$$ restaurant should be chilled and ready to serve. The server didn't come back for another 20 minutes... More

We came upon the White House Inn while driving from Marlboro to Bennington, and decided to stop and try their Sunday brunch. What a treat! Although not cheap, the prices were reasonable for the high quality of food and the beautiful atmosphere, both inside the dining room and the breathtaking views out the window. We all enjoyed our food and... More

My wife and I recently dined at the Wilmington Inn anxious to experience the talents of the new chef that we had heard others rave about. They were right. Without going into the details of each bite, our meals, though different, both were prepared creatively and obviously with the intent to make us goi wow with each bite. The crab... More
