Truly individually prepared breakfast

The accommodation is good, bed was comfortable and the welcome is splendid. There are plenty of places within 5-10 minutes for evening meals. The breakfasts are booked in time slots in order that the small kitchen can prepare your order individually, splendid!

Place was great. Very quiet with a great staff. The breakfast was fantastic. French Toast with cream cheese and jam was unbelievable.

From the outside, we were a little dubious due to the building looking a big shabby, but inside the accommodation was comfortable, particularly the public areas. We received a very warm greeting from the woman who runs the inn, although she is not normally around in the evening. You can however help yourself to free coffee at any time. You... More

My wife and I have stayed at the Wilmington Inn on numerous occasions over the last several years. Unfortunately we were not able to make the trip in 2014. When we arrived this year we were met by Patrick, the new manager. Patrick was terrific. He was friendly and welcoming. We typically stay in the Joseph Courtemanche Suite and did... More

As a B&B, the Wilmington Inn has much going for it. First, the most important things for most travelers--our room was a good size, spotless and smelled clean; the bathroom was large, also spotless and had all the necessities; and the bed was oh so comfortable and the linens of very nice quality. Second, the facility is spacious and interesting--inside... More

This inn is lovely, attractive from the outside, lots of parking, walking distance to town. Patrick, our host, was welcoming and informative about the area and places to eat. The main building had a terrific lounge space to use including sofas, games and a coffee machine. Felt very warm and homely. Breakfast was was cooked and very good. Our main... More

First, the not so good. The main reason I booked at The wilmington Inn was the description of the restaurant on the website. If I had investigagted deeper, I could have found out that there is no restaurant, or it's not open any more. Perhaps website should be updated to reveal the fact that there is NO restaurant. Rooms were... More

I haven't had a better breakfast anywhere - the bacon was cooked perfectly and everything was fresh and hot. Fresh vegetables and fruit were offered as additions to already delicious choices!

We met our longtime friends for a weekend getaway at the Wilmington Inn. Patrick was a wonderful host, making sure we had everything we needed each day. He shared menus and local restaurant recommendations. The linens and beds were heavenly. We would not hesitate to stay here again.
