My husband, brother-in-law and I were hungry after shopping in all of the cute stores in Weston. We were undecided about the Bryant House because it wasn't one that I had researched prior to our trip. We were hungry so we decided to give it a try. We were not disappointed. I ordered the Yankee Pot Roast and the guys... More

The open face turkey sandwich was out of this world. The soups were also great. Will be back again! Thanks! Excellent waitress as well. Thanks Kolin!

Dear Rebecca, I’m happy to hear you enjoyed the open-faced turkey sandwich and soups. We use fresh local meats, cheeses, vegetables, herbs, and breads, which makes a world of difference that our guests comment on often. Thanks for dining with us; I look forward to seeing you again! The food here is nice & homey. Not gourmet, but quite nice. Prices are very reasonable & you get really decent sized portions. We started with Clam Chowder & salad. Both were nice. The chowder was not too thick, which seems the problem these days. Why do some many chowders seem like porridge? For mains we both had the steak... More

Thanks for coming to The Bryant House for dinner, Keith. I’m glad you enjoyed our Clam Chowder. We agree with you; so many places are serving up “porridge” nowadays. Also happy to hear you both liked the steak tips. The beef is from a small local farm and we are quite proud to have such an excellent source of premium... More

We enjoy dinner at the Bryant House several time a year when we're attending performances at the nearby Weston Playhouse. The menu is full of good, basic dishes that are prepared and served with just a little extra...maybe like Mom used to make, only better (sorry, Mom!). On a recent visit we had chicken breast stuffed w/cheese and sautéed tenderloin... More

After shopping at the Vermont Country Store we decided to check out the Bryant House for lunch. The pub was cozy and inviting. The homemade soup of the day was excellent - I wish I had ordered a bowl instead of a cup. The serving size for lunch was plentiful and delicious. The staff couldn’t have been friendlier and even... I love going to the Bryant House because eating there makes me feel that I'm going back in history. That and the fact that their clam chowder, Johnny Cakes, etc. are so good and reasonably priced. The only negative is that the service this time was just average.

We had a lovely young lady named Pippin who got us our water when we first sat down. She was pleasure to talk to and was probably the best part of our visit. When we arrived we were asked what time our reservation was for and were not warmly received when we told them we did not have one. We... More

I am glad we were able to seat you at a table to your liking. During summer and fall, weekends can be especially busy without notice, and we quite often have tour buses that make reservations. So it is hit and miss for our walk-in guests. I do hope you’ll give us another try if you visit again. All the... More

We had a lovely dinner. Had to make reservations between the matinee and evening show at the theater. Salmon was excellent. The children enjoyed their chicken tenders and french fries. Our waiter, Dillon was his name I think, was very accommodating.

I had one of the best burger ever (grass fed) at the Bryant House with a magnificent broccoli soup. Everyone at our table was delighted with their choices, including the Salmon on the mill wood plank (from the 100 year old tile machine in Weston). Great stuff. Service great too. Highly recommended!
