What a disappointment. First of all, Nonna's is now Piacienza. Hardly was right, to the point that two dishes were removed from the check. The service was amateurish, our first wine was unavailable, dishes were cold or inedible, the place is cheerless. Wines we know well are an incredible 6-1/2 times retail price - unacceptable, insulting, criminal. They will not... More

My wife and I gave this restaurant another chance . The new name of restaurant doesn't help change the bad food ....and not having what you order. They don't have items which seems to me a good restaurant would have and they try to push items you don't want. I don't think anything could help this restaurant. CLOSING maybe the... More

We were the first reservation for the evening, 2 martinis were ordered and about 15 minute later the martinis arrives in wine glasses-that wasn't the only problem-they forgot the vodka! They tasted so bad we canceled the order and got beer to be in the safe side. Then when we ordered a bottle of wine, they brought out a bottle... More

Normally I give a narrative but I'm going with the list on this one: - Total of 8 red wines on the list. They were out of 2. - Two people ordered Grey Goose martinis. They came with Absolut Citron. When questioned the staff said they didn't have Grey Goose. Huh? - They are steering people toward the Prix Fixe... More

Went to Vermont looking for some country classics and all we got was over-priced Italian. We made our original reservation at The Hermitage ancient were advised at check-in that the restaurant was closed for renovations. Management advised thay we could move reservation to Nonna's. The menue was based on a four course price fix menu for $68 per person. My... More

We had a totally exceptional dining experience during a "leaf peeping" trip. We arrived slightly after peak season at the Inn at Sawmill Farm and decided to have dinner on site that evening. What a totally unexpected surprise! It was purely coincidence that our visit there was almost a year to the week of our walking tour of Tuscany. The... More

My wife and I had dinner at Nonna's few weeks ago. The food was so bad and service was slow. We have had dinner at Nonna's a couple of times last year and food was good. I think there must be a different chef. If there is a new chef he should go back to culinary school and learn how... More

We were surprised to find The Hermitage now owns the Sawmill Inn and Nonna's. When calling for a reservation, it is a main number for all properties. I specifically asked for a reservation at Nonna's, however, when we arrived there was no reservation. The reservation must have been made an another restaurant in error. We were able to get a...
