We, several dozen golfers, have been going to VT for a long September golf weekend for over a decade. We have dined at a number of restaurants and to my chagrin, I seem to have taken on the roll of social director for the group. We tried Nonna's last year and was pleased. I contacted the manager, Marco, and he... More

food not fresh or hot- the physical space, although has good bones, was dirty and smells like mould- the gel marsala was tough, the lasagna was mushy

A delightful inn...pleasant and quaint...loved the beams...and wide board flooring in the dining room. Food was tasty...and eye appealing on delivery. The servers were attentive...however...left with the impression they were stumbling over each other in an effort to make sure all was well. Fairly certain the two glasses of Pinot Grigio...and Reisling were mixed up enroute to our table...my husband...and... More

The Inn at Saw Mill Farm has graced the Deerfield Valley for more than the three decades my wife and I have been visiting and since its sale a few years ago, and until recently, we haven't returned to try Noona's, advertised as the only Italian restaurant (excepting a multitude of pizzarias) in the Valley. We recently visted. My observations... More

First of all- Thank you for your commentary. We are indeed the only true full-service Italian Restaurant in this Valley we call home. There are a couple of take-out pizza places around. The Inn and restaurant have been around for a few decades and the restaurant was re-branded to an Italian theme some three years ago. The buildings date back... More

Good service, good food, a little pricey. My husband had the lasagna with sausage and I had the chicken with artichokes that were both delicious. The atmosphere is pleasant and quaint.

Provided an incredible meal for the rehearsal dinner at our wedding for 30 people, at a very reasonable price. And a lot of very hard to please guests. Food service went without a hitch, the steak I had was perfectly cooked, and my friends all raved about their entrees, salads and apps. High marks, from a hardened New Yorker!

Being Irish and Italian has its merits. Growing up with an Italian mother I was blessed to always get really great meals...Over the last 3 years I have had a few very good nights Nona's, but I have had more just ok nights. This reveiw comes late as it just hit me that I should have put this out earlier... More

We are sorry to hear about your experience. Our chef makes his tomato sauce with FRESH ingredients and you are welcome to stop in any time to watch him make it. Unfortunately so many people eat prepared sauces which are over-salted so they don't know how to recognize a good sauce when they are given the chance. We make thousands... More

We've been going to the Mt. Snow area for years and had been passing by Nonna's without even realizing. We read some reviews and decided to stop in. We were glad we did! The Sawmill Inn is a unique place with a lot of rustic charm. The staff was very attentive and most of all the food was delicious.
