We were in town for a conference, and surprised to find that it was "mud season" (so many of the surrounding restaurants were closed). But, West Dover Joe's was a recommendation by the front desk person at the resort, and we were certainly not disappointed. The food was great--large portions, nice mixture of items to choose from. Also, great ambience--somewhat... More

Located on the main road a very short distance from Mr Snow and the Great Summit Inns in West Dover West Dover Joe's was the perfect place for dinner the first evening in the area. Atmosphere was local VT and service was as pleasant as could be desired. Started with the salad of Ahi Tuna salad greens, a large salad... More

As second homeowners in the area we always favorite a night at Joe's. The worst part of every visit is selecting only one meal each as they are all so good. Can't wait for our next visit. Ripton

This was a comfort food dinner for us after a long day of skiing at Mount Snow. The dining room was comfy and cozy with tasteful New England decor. We enjoyed the gnocchi, mountain of meatloaf, and apple stuffed chicken. The meatloaf was the star, loaded with fresh herbs and topped with delicious brown gravy. The mashed potatoes were delicious... More

Party of 9. Small restaurant with large parking lot. Everybody was happy with their meals. I had the pot roast/brisket which was moist and tasty, stew-like. Kid friendly with a nice bar area. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Right down the road from Mt Snow ski Resort, we stopped to check out the bar. Very nice owner, nice bartender and neat atmosphere. Went back the next day for lunch and had the best Gumbo ever! Will definetly go back, next trip to Vermont!

Stopped for lunch and had the greatest bowl of gumbo in my life! Food is great, atmosphere wonderful and the owner Brett is very hospitable! Disappointed that I missed pasta night last night. A reason to return!

Our table of ten had a reservation and was ready for us upon arrival. The drink in the bar with Hal was really good! Waitress seemed a little disoriented - she just didn't have a good rhythm for taking orders, sharing suggestions for what-to-eat and replenishing drinks. She wasn't terrible - she just missed a window of opportunity to make... More

We end up eating our lunch there a few times. My two kids love the place and took many pictures. And I love the music they playing :). We all love the soup they had, large quantity, great taste. Staff are very nice. Overall, just a very relaxing place to stop by before going up to the ski slope and... More
