Went to the saloon with local friends. What a delight, great beer selection, great service and great down to earth food. If you enjoy hot wings these are among the best you will find. Definitely the best in the valley! Julie the waitress was very kind, informative and friendly. You won't be disappointed!!

Our first time at the Saloon. We had a lunch there, a turkey-swiss wrap and a Greek salad. My wife had the wrap, parts of which were brought home. My salad was great, about as good or better than I've eaten. Ample amount of greens, olives, etc. with a great dressing. The wrap could not be finished because of its... More

After a very disappointing experience down Route 100 at Jerry's Deck Bar & Grill, we decided to try the Valley View Saloon. The difference was night and day. What a nice little find. Great beer selection and a simple menu of sandwiches and the like. Our order was served promptly and was delicious. Everything was exactly as described. The waitress... More

A lot of restaurants in the area are way overpriced. Valley View Saloon was decently priced and the food was great. It's not a huge place, but we never had to wait too long. (we went back the second night!). It's a sandwich and burger place, carry a couple dinners and a few drafts. Staff is very friendly. The marinated... More

We arrived in town late for a conference, and there weren't many dinner options during "mud season" in the area. We made our way to the Saloon, and it was adequate--service was great, and standard bar food. But, it was pretty good for bar food and a nice place.

Not much in the way of ambience, mix of locals and skiers, decent prices (for a resort town), pretty good selection& food and pleasant attentive service. Thats all, folks.

There wasn't much seating but if you have no where to go it's definitely worth the wait. We went twice during our ski trip and were lucky enough to get right in and sit down. The sandwiches and wraps are awesome and the sweet potato fries are great. We had the same waitress twice and she had a great personality... More

Very casual saloon atmosphere. The menu has a variety of choices. The portions were good for price. Tuesday $2.75 bottle beers were a bonus! Ate there twice during our trip. Waitstaff was very attentive and friendly.

We were looking for somewhere quick to eat after our dog sled tour at Husky Works. It was recommended that we try this place out. So glad we did! I had the super chicken sub and my fiance had a chicken parm sub. Possibly one of the best subs i've ever had. I'm not a big drinker, but the beer... More

Better than average pub grub with a couple surprises, but it's the friendly staff that really sets this place apart. I've been going there for a weeks vacation every summer for years and they remember us (by name) every time we go. Great little spot for a brew and some food.
