My friends and I went to the Valley View Saloon for drinks and a bite to eat and we were very happy with the choice! The service was fast; the drinks were good; and the food was delicious! You have to try the Psycho chicken! The portions are generous--none of us were able to finish what was on our plates.... More

After a busy day of adventuring on the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge, The Saloon offered fantastic burgers and a relaxing atmosphere. Quick and pleasant service, reasonable prices. We will be visiting again!

The saloon is a very good sports bar type of establishment. They make good pub fare for a reasonable price. We went on a Monday night and they had an excellent 50 cent chicken wing special. We got buffalo and asian sauces. Both were very good. I ordered a pastrami sandwich and was very pleased!! The saloon has local vermont... More

After an exhausting and amazing day doing the Green Mountain Adventure Challenge we decided to go back to the place where it all really began. I ordered the Rueben and it was FABULOUS.

We shared a spinach and artichoke dip, which I usually like, but it was not so great. To be fair, we didn't stay for any other food, but based on the appetizer I was glad we had only planned to stop in for a snack. The server was very nice and quick with the drinks though, which we appreciated.

Went for dinner and the place was pretty busy, but we didn't have to wait long. The staff was very friendly and the service was good. We got the chicken Philly cheese steak, garden salad and Asian wings. The wings weren't exactly what we were expecting, but were very good, the chicken Philly cheese steak was delicious and the salad... More

Our first time at the Saloon. We had a lunch there, a turkey-swiss wrap and a Greek salad. My wife had the wrap, parts of which were brought home. My salad was great, about as good or better than I've eaten. Ample amount of greens, olives, etc. with a great dressing. The wrap could not be finished because of its... More

After a very disappointing experience down Route 100 at Jerry's Deck Bar & Grill, we decided to try the Valley View Saloon. The difference was night and day. What a nice little find. Great beer selection and a simple menu of sandwiches and the like. Our order was served promptly and was delicious. Everything was exactly as described. The waitress... More
