We stayed at West Dover Inn so we were lucky enough to enjoy both a dinner and a breakfast! Our dinner was delicious, I had the special: Massachusetts striped bass with corn risotto and tomato basil salad, my boyfriend had a burger made with local beef and Vermont cheddar and hand cut french fries. Everything about both of our meals... More

You wouldn't necessarily expect to have such a good meal in a seasonal restaurant that looks like this. But, the burger and salmon burger were both quite tasty, as was the large kid sized portion of 3 cheese mac and cheese. We were there for an early dinner and the place was quiet, but by the time we finished, the... More

Myself and my husband ate dinner here in the bar section after a long day of the Green Mountain challenge. I was very surprised by the quality of the food. It is definitely better than bar food. The presentation and quality was definitely upscale. My husband had the steak tips and they were so good he ordered a second round.... More

Started in bar area for the live music and cold beverages. Liked the staff and place so much we stayed for the night. Dated yet clean accommodations, great friendly staff and awesome breakfast. Would definitely stay here again.

We visited the 1846 Tavern on June 27. We've been going to the Mt. Snow area for years and finally decided to try to venture away from our usual favorites to try some new places. The 1846 Tavern and Restaurant was excellent and we wish we'd been brave enough to try it sooner! The My Aunt has a severe seafood... More

I visited The 1846 Tavern and Restaurant on April 14, 2013, during a weekend getaway. The menu options were acceptable, food was decent, and dinner plating was nice and modern, as to be expected these days. Service was sub-par and the band that was performing that night was below average. However, the ambiance was good. Overall, I didn't dislike the... More

The restaurant beautiful and has great ambience, but the food is very overpriced. The wings and fries were delicious, but the fish tacos were overly salty and dry. The wait staff seemed preoccupied so it took quite awhile to he refills on drinks. Definitely a one time only stop.

Was skiing for the week in Mount Snow and stopped here while driving around looking for somewhere to eat. Being around 9pm mid-week in February it wasn't very busy. The main dining room looked nice but was empty so the staff asked us if we wanted to eat at the bar instead where there was a guy playing the guitar... More

We had voucher for this place so ate two nights during our stay. Both times the food was very good. One night I had a pork chop with a blue cheese risotto, hubby had the burger special. My pork was well cooked and my husband thought the risotto was too blue-cheesy but I love blue cheese so I thought it... More

We were staying in West Dover and went across the highway to this restaurant which is part of the West Dover Inn. The food and service were just ok (the bartender/maitre'd seemed to have an attitude), but the menu is very overpriced. I guess they live off the skiers who stay at the inn or in the village. There are... More
