The meal here was rushed and slow. We had reservations for 7 and were seated promptly. Then the wait began. 20minutes for drinks. Food arrived one hour and ten minutes after we sat down. The wings were not crispy...as if they had been rushed. But we waited over an hour to receive them. This is what I mean by rushed... More

Thank you for the feedback as we always appreciate hearing about our customer's experience. I recall your reservation. Our servers have a lot of favorites on the menu but you make a point that perhaps we should be specific when asked about top recommendations-thank you for that feedback. I apologize there was the delay in receiving your drinks and food.... More

I was skiing in Mt. Snow and asked the Innkeeper for a dinner suggestion; he recommended the 1847 Tavern. I was glad he did. I had the Shepard's Pie, it was very tasty. The wait staff was attentive and friendly. All in all, a good experience.

We are here last night on a family trip to Vermont and it was very delicious. I had the Shepard's Pie which I think was the best of all three, but my mother-in-law had fish and chips and my husband had the duck. I tried all three and they were all delicious. The desserts of apple pie and lava cake... More

Enjoyed it very much. Great menu, some good "trendy" choices (enjoyed the Brussel sprout fries!) and good atmosphere. Has nice choice for children - family of 4 ate well and enjoyed.

The food here was great. I am vegetarian; though there aren't many vegetarian options on the menu, the chef kindly offered to make me a pasta or risotto dish; I opted for the pasta with a side of fried brussel sprouts and loved it. The environment was great - there are hilarious sayings all around; the bartenders and patrons alike... More

My husband and I decided to have dinner here while staying at the Inn and had an excellent meal! It was a little pricey, but worth every penny! I was pleased to see that they use local produce and meats when possible and honestly you get what you pay for! On a side note I could eat the fries ALL... More

First time at this restaurant and I feel like I should leave... Five minutes after we took our seats and what I think was the manager asked not too nice a party of 10 to leave ... We were seated right next to them and we didn't hear them complaining just asking for 2 more chairs...! The manager was very... More

I was lucky enough to be tipped off about this restaurant by a friend. The tavern is a wonderful old English style pub. The food we got was absolutely wonderful! Perfectly cooked and chef inspired the salmon and fried chicken were beyond amazing! This is the first review I have ever written and I am doing so because this food... More

Great staff as the restaurant is fast paced and busy, sometimes a long wait for your meal but they have activities to entertain everyone....great time for all and affordable.

Went here for my husbands birthday dinner after a day of skiing at Mount Snow. Staff was super friendly and the food was fantastic! Must have the trout corn fritters! My husband said the duck was one of the best hes ever had.Good live music too! It was reasonably priced and great food, would definitely go back!
