We had voucher for this place so ate two nights during our stay. Both times the food was very good. One night I had a pork chop with a blue cheese risotto, hubby had the burger special. My pork was well cooked and my husband thought the risotto was too blue-cheesy but I love blue cheese so I thought it... More

We were staying in West Dover and went across the highway to this restaurant which is part of the West Dover Inn. The food and service were just ok (the bartender/maitre'd seemed to have an attitude), but the menu is very overpriced. I guess they live off the skiers who stay at the inn or in the village. There are... More

Pleasantly surprised. Great atmosphere for a snowy winter evening in the mountains. Delicious food, and attentive service. We really enjoyed the scallops and butternut squash raviolis. The acoustic guitar, and fireplace was a wonderful atmosphere with a glass of wine and watching the snow fall.

My wife and I had a wonderful dinner at 1846 and absolutely loved it. The service was great and the food was even better. My wife had the pork chop and I had the duck( if you like duck don't pass it up). We can't wait to be back.

Restaurant is in the West Dover Inn and can be easily overlooked on the road to Mount Snow. If not for my friend's recommendation, we would not have noticed it. Food was very good with much variety including great wings and shepards pie. Also had a good selection of beer including some local brews (switchback was great). Now that I... More

food is excellent. Butternut squash ravioli, hot wings, shepards pie, we tried a little of everything-- and it was all cooked well. Also, a great selection of craft brews on tap--including an 1846 brew! yum!

My friends and I had dinner at this restaurant while skiing at Mt. Snow. I had high hopes after hearing from them that they had been there before and thought it was very good. We were seated at a wooden table that was in dire need of either refinishing or a table cloth. The waitress brought us menus and took... More

We came to this restaurant off a recommendation from a local and we were not disappointed! The food was awesome! Staff was friendly as well. When we arrived there was live music in the bar area which we enjoyed. My only complaint was half way through our dinner a comedian came on in the main dining room. To be honest... More

The place was packed with local-yocal's getting drunk and staring while we tried to eat. The food was great, well cooked and unexpectedly amazing presentation on some of the dishes. This unfortunately didn't make up for the rest. The menu had the most limited selection of food I've ever seen for a Restaurant. Nothing terribly unique to the region. We... More
