I always enjoy the experience at Maxi's. The menu offers plenty of options, food always tastes great, and the waitresses are friendly! It's one of my favorite dining spots.

We've stayed in the Waterbury area many times. I've never given Maxi's a second look. It is not on "the strip," it is not one of the popular apre ski places downtown. But check it out. Service was awesome, menu was diverse and the food was great. Nothing fancy, but a great place for a group/family. Lots of local beers... More

The food here is well done and has a good selection. Service staff is friendly and attentive. Lunches are substantial and is good comfort food.

The slightly complication approach through road construction was rewarded when Maxis offered an extensive menu for breakfast. We both had the Maxi breakfast special which had egg, pancake, potatoes and meat and were very pleasant. Expect VT maple syrup and good coffee. Serve was efficient and friendly. Great local place

My husband and I ate there for breakfast when we arrived in Waterbury. We both had banana pancakes. They were delicious. There were a few issues as to why I couldn't give it 5 stars; They give you a little bit of syrup and charge you extra if you want more. The service wasn't great and it was pretty pricey... More

Lots of construction in the area, so I don't know if that impacted the small amount of people there. The service was quick and friendly, the food was tasty and hot. Excellent home fries for those who like them! I would go again if I was in the area.

We stopped here for breakfast on the way out of town after a wedding over the summer. For whatever reason, the restaurant was packed, but we managed to snag four seats at the counter. Our breakfasts took a while to arrive, but when they did, they were hot, fresh, and delicious (I had a veggie omelet), and the coffee was... More

Only went there once. Bit cramped but really good food, good size portions and decent prices. Friendly waitresses.

Driving trough Waterbury went at Maxi's for lunch. The service was fast and full of smiles. I ordered the French Dip which is a beef sandwich with Au jus. The bread was like a sponge for the nice Au jus and the meat was some of the most tender beef I've tasted in a sandwich. You have to go there.
