Driving trough Waterbury went at Maxi's for lunch. The service was fast and full of smiles. I ordered the French Dip which is a beef sandwich with Au jus. The bread was like a sponge for the nice Au jus and the meat was some of the most tender beef I've tasted in a sandwich. You have to go there.

We were just looking for any place to eat breakfast. It was recommended by a local. The food was delicious with a nice presentation. Also, the portions were large. I had a belgian waffle with strawberries with, of course, vermont maple syrup. My friends had omelets and irish benedict. Everyone liked the food and the prices were very reasonable.

Three of us stopped in for a quick lunch before a long trip to southern Vt. It ended up taking an hour and a half. One of us asked if the teriyaki sauce had gluten in it and the server said she'd check. Ten minutes later she came back and said they were checking on it. We ordered a bloody... More

We try to get to Maxi's whenever we are in the Waterbury area. Breakfast's are great and plentiful. My favorite is a toss up between the turkey sandwich at lunch and the ultra creamy gouda mac and cheese. stopped after a day of roadtripping around Vermont for dinner and I had the pork chop with gouda mac the chop had... On our return trip from a shopping spree in North Conway, we dropped into Maxi's for lunch just before 1 pm. My partner had a standard breakfast and left nothing on her plate. I was needlessly worried that the post-church crowd would be lined up ahead of us as in the past. This was our third visit and we were... More

We recently traveled up for a vacation. Came for lunch and really enjoyed it. The hot apple cider was good and food was great. The mushroom quesadilla was a great twist and the bbq chicken wrap was great! Would visit again and again!

I find Maxi's to be a great place to go as a couple, a family, with business partners, and by yourself. I have done all of the above! Good variety of food selections for all ages, and the staff is very helpful and friendly. Out of the many, many times we've been there, we only had one rough time when... More

We run over to Maxi's at least once a month ~ never disappointed ~ their offerings are as good as pricer restaurants, but 1/2 the price!

On a recent drive from Central MA up to Montreal, I went looking for a stop along I-89 where I could enjoy an above-average meal at a reasonable price. Maxi's showed up on my radar and I pulled in -- and enjoyed it enough I stopped there again on the ride home. Breakfast until 2:30 PM, a variety of lunch... More

We found ourselves in Maxi's on a stormy night in February. We had planned to head south on 89, but snow squalls made it a good idea to wait a while. The food was tasty and reasonably priced. My husband and son had sandwiches with fries and I had the Waldorf salad. The waitress was friendly and attentive. Prices were... More
