Still, our go-to pub within 15 miles in Vermont

I reviewed the Res 2 years ago and after returning again last night, had to give them kudos for keeping up with all the aspects which make them a great pub and restaurant. The Shed Burger (i snuck a few bites from my wife's) was delicious as always and cooked the temperature she requested. I had... read more

I cannot say enough positive things about The Reservoir. The farm to table menu offers an excellent variety of choices and I find it difficult to keep exploring the menu options without falling back on the same great thing I had the last time. The staff has always been pleasant even though they are running non-stop. An incredible beer selection... More

Visited with husband and tween sons on Easter Sunday. Meant to eat at the Prohibition Pig but it was closed for the holiday. The atmosphere and service were fantastic. As usual the food, like other places in Vermont, was spectacular. Highly recommended with a quick trip to Ben & Jerry's for dessert!

My friends and have visited Reservoir a couple times this winter and had already had a lovely time. The food is interesting and excellent and the service is spot on. You can sit at the bar and get full food service so this is quite helpful if you can grab a seat on those busy nights. They offer free popcorn... More

Our B&B hosts suggested we try The Reservoir if the wait was to long at Pro Pig. It was and we're glad we did. While there was a wait for tables, we snagged two seats at the bar right in front of a row of taps -- craft beer nirvana. I couldn't resist ordering a new favorite, Long Trail's Limbo... More

Fun spot to try many Vermont and a few other top craft beers. The burgers were great with delicious extras. Very pleasant for our family of five. Coming back again soon and we also like the outdoor patio when the season allows.

My boyfriend and I were in Waterbury over President's Day weekend. We wanted a quiet weekend away from the craziness of New Jersey. We were originally planning on eating dinner at the Pig, but we didn't feel like waiting over 2 1/2 hours for a table. We walked up the road to the Reservoir and were pleased with what we... More

While making my monthly trek to Waterbury for Lawsons Sip of Sunshine and Heady Topper I stopped by the Reservoir for dinner. The front dining room had a lot of local families due to it being Wednesday night non holiday. The back bar area was also full of locals sampling some of the 28 beers on tap. Service was fast... When ever my husband I are using our timeshare in Stowe, we make a pilgrimage to the Rez as locals call it. The fries, chicken wings, and burgers are all very goo. I particularly like the Lamb burger, but this time I tried their scallop appetizer. Scallops were perfectly done, and a generous portion for an appetizer. My sister-in-law who... More
