The place to be in Waterbury

The Rez is the best bar in Waterbury, hands down. The Menu changes a lot but always has some great options, even if they are a little overpriced. The quality of the food is good so the sticker price is somewhat justified, especially considering the location. The service isn't always great... read more

Been to the Reservoir in Waterbury many times and plan to continue going. The local beer selection is amazing (38 draft beers). The food is mostly pub style and equally as good. We almost always order from the chicken wing selection and the local beef burgers are very enjoyable. Tip:if you can't find parking on Main St. there is a... More

We went in for a beer from the great selection available at the Rez and ended up having a full dinner. The fish and chips was great, nice coating on the fish and lots of food! When they have the fried oysters you have to order them. All the staff has a smile and stops for a short conversation.

Craziest thing ever.. My Fiancé and I have gone there nurmorus times. Headed back from Burlington on Saturday, I got off the interstate in Waterbury specifically to have a beer at The Res. We walked in to the back where the bar is, the bar was full so we sat at a table. The waitress approached us and told us... More

Karen, My name is Mark Frier and I am one of the owners. I am very sorry this happened. The server was mistaken in how this was handled. Since we have been seeing longer and longer waits for diner, we have been trying to ask bar patrons if they would mind allowing us to use the table for guests waiting... More

Right in the middle of Waterbeery, the Rez has a broad menu with healthy and not so healthy good tasting food! Wash it down with one of many good beers while enjoying inside or outside seating. Friendly and attentive staff.

We went to Waterbury wanting to visit this restaurant for their Poutine. We sat at the bar, and immediately felt like 'Edith Ann' from Laugh-In, because the stools were too short for the bar. But, the bartender was awesome. I immediately ordered the Poutine knowing what I wanted. Compared to last time, the fries weren't as crisp, and the gravy... More

So much to choose from! Ended up getting Lawson's sip of Sunshine(amazing) goat cheese egg rolls and 5 cheese mac & cheese. Just the perfect amount and super tasty. Love the team supporters for all the football games(there were a few guys dressed for the occasion) Highly recommend, great atmosphere

A good pub with better than average food selections and great beers selections. I've had beers from Hill Farmstead and Lawson's Finest which to me, seems to be served too cold. Portion are generous. For appetizer we had the egg roll which was fine. The mac n cheese is excellent and would be my recommendation for your starter. I had the... More

We went to watch football on Sunday after a long weekend in Vermont. They have lots of tvs, a seemingly endless beer list, delicious food and make a killer Irish breakfast shot!

The Reservoir is the big sister of The Bench in Stowe, and it offers up great food and a wide variety of local, craft beers. I had the meatloaf with mashed potatoes (and gravy, of course) along with seasonal vegetables (brussel sprouts). I paired this with the "Abner" IPA from Hill Farmstead ... very hearty meal. My partner had a... More
