I took my family here because of the great reviews. Unfortunately the food was basically inedible. Specifically the chicken tacos and burritos were terrible. The fish tacos were decent as was the enchiladas. We were a large party and no one really enjoyed their meal. Seriously, just go to another spot. Its totally not worth the price.

We are big Mexican foodies...and Mad Taco is by far some of the best tacos we have ever had. Who would have thought you would find such great, authentic Mexican in such a small town in VT. If you go, plan on waiting 15-20 minutes for your order because they cook a lot of their meats to order...and each time... More

Fresh ingredients with a flair. Overstuffed, fresh tacos with cool twists. I ate here after skiing one day and was so full i didn't need dinner. The Tacos and Burritos are HUGE. Its more than you may be used to paying but you get quality food. A Valley favorite.

I can always count on getting a meal with the best local ingredients made with care, full of flavor, and creatively presented. The beef taco I got I'm sure they spent all day cooking the locally-raised meat and sauce, with a hefty amount of beef. Love their many sauces, all rated for heat. Who needs a huge menu when everything... More

Fast service, nice selections from a small menu. Food is very solid, but it's the beer selection that's amazing. This is my favorite easy and quick place to eat in Waitsfield.

My husband & I love their flavorful tacos made with local ingredients. He especially loves the pork belly taco. They have several homemade taco sauces, in varying heats. The atmosphere is casual & the service is friendly. It is a little pricey, but it's to be expected for quality ingredients. We love going there.

This unobtrusive storefront was easy to miss. It took a bit to find it, but once we did, it was well worth it. The guys working here were tattooed hipsters, with an easy, laid back attitude and awesome food. We tried the Colorado Pork tacos and the Seitan and sweet potato tacos. All were amazing. And spicy. At one point... More

Tacos are super. I love the ones with yams, black beans and slaw. They make their own salsa ranging in heat from 1-10.

The first time we went to the mad tacos our friends brought us here (they have a house at sugarbush). We had an amazing experience. Great food and heady topper! In terms of decor: We had been living in Greenpoint, Brooklyn --- and when I walked in my impression of the place was that it was "very Brooklyn". Random stickers... More
