Called to make a reservation for 6 and I was asked if there were any children in my party. When I told him 2 he said, I need to tell you we are not family friendly. The statement struck me as odd as they are located at the foot of the mountain in a family friendly ski resort. I asked... More

Went there over the Christmas week. Our family was greeted warmly. We were early so we went to the bar where once again we were greeted with a warm and welcome smile. Dinner was fantastic The place was full and you could tell from looking around everyone was having a wonderful time. Of all 6 restaurants we went to this week... More

Verde at Stratton is not a restaurant. It's an Epic in the making. Is it any wonder, with all that to coordinate and care for, that Verde has required a heroic length of time to reach its potential? The Trojan War lasted ten years. Odysseus spent the same time making his way back to Ithaca. Very few restaurants have such... More

We have been to Verde four times now and always like it. My fiancé brought me there this winter and it was very nice.

My husband and I went to Verde on Christmas for dinner. From the moment we entered it was such an absolute pleasure to be there. The maitre'd, I believe his name is Luis, he was so wonderful! From booking the reservation over the phone with him to having a lovely conversation with him in between courses and before we left.... More

We used to love this place. So convinient right in the village. Unfortunately, last time we went it was the biggest dissapointment. They brought us the wrong main cources which were not even eatable. Ordered fillet and got sirloin with fries for 40 dollars. No sauce no presentation. Dry, chewy and overcooked. Octopus was very salty with lots of basil... More

Have eaten here many times over the years. Super expensive entrees, very high-priced drinks. Can be a fine dining experience as food is generally high quality. You can eat at the bar but there is no bar menu. Very busy during ski season. My friend and I had pre-season dinner there in mid-November. The restaurant was nearly empty, with just... More

The food was excellent especially the braised Pork Loin. The waitress was very helpful. The only thing not up to par was the fact they ran out of several things in the menu we wanted to try

Hip restaurant right at the base of Stratton. Consistently excellent service and wclwcric menu are highlights. Manhattan prices are also conspicuous but the experience is worth the price.
