Brews and Nachos

Your run of the mill base lodge bar. Pub style food with a few beers on tap. I was surprised at the limited selection and expected there to be a wider assortment of craft beers to choose from. Our nachos were nothing to write home about, but they did the job. It was quite crowded for a week day... read more

Stopped up at Grizzlys for a beer after a stellar ski day. Fantastic selection and the bartender was helpful in selecting. Many local brews that I'm not familiar with but must try. I'll return for lunch on my next visit. Great menu- soups, salads and sandwiches- the usual pub food, but with a few intriguing items. I would guess it... More

We ate in the newly built large dining area off to the left of the main bar, it was great to have the space! Especially on MLK weekend 2016. Menu was good, beer menu very extensive and impressive. Service was very good, also especially considering the very large room. Nice clam chowder!

We had some time and decided to try Grizzly's for lunch while we wait for our kids to come back from snowboarding. Waitress was friendly but too eager. I ordered a Pilsner local beer and some app and a winter sangria and clam chowder. Wasn't a fan of the chowder at all but it was ok. I am sure they... More

Had drinks at Grizzly's during lunch/late afternoon pretty much every day. Also saw Jim Breuer on a Friday night. The bartenders and staff were friendly. On days where it was crowded, it was noticeable in the service/food, but can't complain, the place is going to be packed on weekends in the winter.

Well it's a busy spot so I figured that it would take a while to get food. However when I got my expensive food it was terrible! The staff were nice enough about it but still the food was awful. I don't know how good it is for kids so you might want to try it.

Grizzly's is perfect to hang apres ski, great live music on the weekends and lively bar scene, just don't expect much food selection, as they had a fire and the main kitchen was closed, we had cesear salad & the hummus plate, which was awful. The service is slow and we had to ask our waitress 3 times to bring... More

So busy after skiing. So loud. So crowded. Not controlled at all. It needs an expansion to accomodate everyone! Food and drinks mediocre but service does pretty good considering they are salmon swimming against the current!

Actually this can be a fun après ski bar except for the fact that the acrostics are awful. More often than not after skiing for the weekend, there is a band playing on weekends, all the seats are filled, and the extended bar in the back is closed for a private party or just closed. It's too bad because it... More

Packed full of happy skiers! Amazingly attentive bar tenders! Incredibly talented band! Pizza and pub food available for purchase, table service, too. Go out past the bar to the outdoor deck and sit looking at the mountain with a beverage of choice. You won't want to leave. It's a happy place, noisy, crowded and everyone who stays likes it that...
