This spot is right in downtown Stowe. We discovered them in the afternoon where they served the best & most traditional chowder at the Chowderpalooza. Look forward to seeing it on the menu. A small sign points it out its in the back of a building in the basement with no windows but it's a cozy pub atmosphere. We had... More

Everything about this place is excellent. Drinks: Made well and delicious. The whiskey sour royal is tops. Service: our waiter was kind, knew the menu, and personable. Excellent job. Food: perfect, nothing else to say! Atmosphere: the best in Stowe. Downstairs, cozy, dimly lit. My favorite place in Stowe!

Harrison's Restaurant - Stowe, VT - 5/19/2015 Although my Nav system said it's on the left, it's actually on the right behind another building so it's easy to drive by. There is ample parking in the rear. Once you walk in, turn right and head down the stairs. Barn board and beams make up the interior and it almost looks... More

My wife and I stumbled on this hidden gem known as Harrison's. We walked in on a Friday (without reservations) evening and it was a packed house. The hostess informed us it would be nearly a 2 hour wait. We decided not to wait that evening but as we walked out, we made reservations for the the following night and... More

So glad you made it back in, Jovaneth! I wish we had more space, so we could accommodate all of our guests without any wait, but it sounds like your meal was worth it! I'm happy to hear how much you enjoyed your entrées and the sangria. Thank you kindly for sending others our way. We hope to see you... More

This restaurant is relatively small and always crowded so I hadn't dined there in quite a while. Got a cozy both and started with a martini made with Green Mountain Vodka ... yes, supposedly distilled right there in town ... not bad. For the main entree, I opted for the linguine with house-made sausage, and some veggies thrown in. It... More

Sounds like you and your party had an excellent meal at our place -- I couldn't be more thrilled to hear it! Best stir fry your friend had ever had? That's wonderful! Glad the service was great, too. Thanks for all the kind words. Hope to see you soon! Take care, Andrew K., Owner More

I am lucky enough to live in the heart of Manhattan and in one of the epicenter's of "foodie mania". Harrison's is by far one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The food is amazing and the service is outstanding, but they have they sixth sense of hospitality that most people/companies just don't have. Make sure to... More

I know the competition's stiff, so hearing how much you love my place really means a lot to me. Of course, I'm thrilled you love the food, but I'm especially happy to hear your mention our hospitality. I know my mom, who runs the place with me, will be happy to hear it too. So, thanks from both of us!... More

While on our babymoon trip in Vermont and upon recommendation from our B and B hosts, we headed to Harrison's for an early dinner and enjoyed amazing lobster risotto and a mocha cheesecake. We also had the Asiago fries as an appetizer which did not disappoint. Everything was superb and the service was excellent in this cozy spot in downtown... More

Cozy atmosphere. You could go there in ski clothes or be dressed up. The food was superb! Fresh, flavorful and presented in an upscale way. Our meals were very good. One entree was casual dining and it was presented as beautifully as the nicer entree. We were disappointed that we did not have time to return for another meal.
