Awesome local food in a quaint location

Cozy atmosphere. You could go there in ski clothes or be dressed up. The food was superb! Fresh, flavorful and presented in an upscale way. Our meals were very good. One entree was casual dining and it was presented as beautifully as the nicer entree. We were disappointed that we did not have time to return for another meal.

Had the best mussels every. Quaint, cozy and great service. They had Heddy Topper Beer. This was a great place.

"If" you find it, you will be richly rewarded! Only don't show up without a reservation unless it is "mud" season. This basement restaurant in a historic Stowe center building on Main Street is a quintessentially quaint dining experience. Anything you order will be absolutely delicious and reasonably priced. There are price options across a wide spectrum. The multi-tiered seating... More

I love this place! It's a bit pricy but it's great local food! It's unbelievable. Great staff. The owners are so sweet. Plenty of items to choose from! Great work!

The food was outstanding! Our meals were tasty and high quality. It is small inside so be sure to make a reservation before you go.

I've been to Stowe many times and finally got a chance to try Harrison's. I didn't take an exact count of how many tables they had, but it felt like a small and intimate place, and I liked the rustic and classy way it was decorated. My family and I shared a lot of the soups, appetizers, and entrees, and... More

We started with a duck quesadilla which my wife really didn't like so I didn't know what was ahead. I found it interesting, but nothing I would return for. Our entrees, however, changed everything. I had the sensational apple cider chicken which I found very unique and delicious. My wife had the scallop special which she was unable to stop... More

Harrison's is a VERY small basement restaurant so early reservations are a must. If you don't have reservations you can get a 4:30pm, 5pm or 9pm seating. Bar seating is also available but it's not a place you can stand and wait for bar seats to open. The ceilings are very low and it's very small so it's hit or... More

With so many excellent reviews our expectations were high. Too high. The setting is unlike any I have ever seen, not in a good way. Difficult to find, and when you do, you are greeted by a set of narrow stairs leading you to the BASEMENT dining room. No windows and very cramped. And I couldn't help wonder about accessibility...
