Amazing pancakes-- worth the visit!

We went here on a recent trip to Stowe. The restaurant is attached to a local in. The staff couldn't have been nicer to us and our children. The restaurant could use a bit of a makeover... Everything was a bit old and worn, although this adds to the charm in a way. Parking was somewhat tight with... read more

The Dutch Pancake was good, though very sweet. Only could eat about 1/3 of it. I had the strawberry and cmwith chocolate drizzle dutch pancake. It was canned strawberries (which they informed me they wouldn't be fresh bc time of year). Though I'd highly suggest buying fresh bc the strawberries in sauce was way too sweet. Coffee ok. Toast was... More

My wife and I go to Stowe every year or two and every single morning, we go eat breakfast at the Dutch Pancake Cafe. The pancakes are out of this world, and have no equal anywhere near where we live. It's always tough to pick from their 100+ flavour combinations. My wife prefers to get the sweet ones, and I... More

Huge selection to choose from including a children's menu , sweet and savoury. The children were served promptly and loved their pancakes. Our meals didn't arrive at the same time and were slow coming. People who arrived after us were finished before we got our pancakes and French toast. Coffee in a lovely big mug wasn't very good. The pancakes... More

We came to Stowe for our honeymoon and this was our last meal and our best meal. The service was so wonderful and I felt like our server was truly happy to have us there. the coffee was perfect and woke us right up. I had the Blackstone eggs and it was divine. Poached eggs with a hollaindaise sauce and... More

I am happy to say that as I type this.... I have about 1/2 of a pineapple coconut Dutch pancake with almonds in my freezer that I couldn't finish (No one can...the pancakes are huge!) and will put in a hot buttered frying pan Sunday morning and enjoy once again. Of course not as good as when you first get... More
