Love the Dutch Pancake

We've been going here for years and I always love the treat of having #14 the Maple Walnut Crepe. It's always a winner.

What a treat to get the Dutch Pancake for dinner! Dinner is only offered Friday and Saturday nights, but oh so worth it! Pancakes made to perfection. Love them! The best part is getting the "double pan" option. Get a savory and a sweet pancake both on the same plate (or 2 sweet or 2 savory). It's nice not having... More

Came here based on reviews and a restaurant.com coupon. Completely worth the meal even without a coupon. Plentiful meal. Pancake was delicious and above average presentation of fruit and chocolate. Mexi frittata was also a favorite. Waitstaff was friendly, accomodating, and with a big smile. They offer gluten free toast and can modify a meal.

The amount of different offerings is outstanding. We had good service the day we went. We had friends who went two days later and the one waitress was overloaded and they waited 30 minutes to order. Food for all ages. Would go back but would make sure they are staffed appropriately when we enter.

I had no idea what a dutch pancake was before visiting the dutch pancake cafe, but they were absolutely delicious. They had both savory and sweet and we tried one of each. They are huge, so I would highly recommend sharing - we shared 2 between 3 of us, and we all left stuffed. The Rembrandt was very unique and... More

The Dutch Pancake Café serves a large breakfast menu that includes a wide variety of Dutch pancakes, as well as numerous traditional breakfast items (eggs, sausage, toast, etc.). There are vegetarian sausages as well as the traditional, and a pleasant Dutch-themed décor. The food for our party of nine was delightful, but service was a different story. Although our server... Really enjoyed my breakfast here. Service was quick for a Vermont restaurant and prices were very reasonable for Stowe.

We went twice during the week. The pancakes were different and really delicious. I found that I couldn't eat a whole one because it was too rich as there was so much cheese on the one I had ordered. Second visit, I went cheeseless and found I liked them better.

Loved the eggs benedict and the florentine that my mom got! The fresh fruit cup had rotten grapes in them, mold and all, so that was not good. Otherwise, everything else was enjoyable. The home fries had a little spice to them, which was nice. Portions were not too big, so sharing is not really something you can do. Staff... More
