We stayed Next door at the Town & Country. We absolutely made the right decision to come here for breakfast. The service was outstanding and the food even better. I highly recommend this place.

So, this place was highly recommended and we were a little disappointed. We walked in and no one acknowledged us for well over 10 minutes. We just stood there as waiters and waitresses walked by and pretended not to see us. I finally stopped one and asked if we were supposed to seat ourselves or put our name on a... More

Pancakes are big-plate sized, and extend not only to the typical fruit cakes but also savory types with bacon and cheese. My omelet was delicious and my husband's eggs florentine were also yummy. Our wait staff was very attentive- multiple people checked in to see if we needed anything, so they may have taken complaints about service very seriously.

Delicious food and coffee. I wouldn't really think of Dutch food as a delicacy, but the pancakes were very enjoyable. Would return if I were in the area again!

The pancakes were good, but it took sooooo very long to get them. We had to wait only a short time to be seated but it took a very long time to be waited on. Then it to forever to get our food. A side order was forgotten and left in the kitchen. Many apologies and many excuses were given.... More

We wasted an entire morning attempting to eat breakfast here. They were not able to serve us a simple breakfast (pancakes, for crying out loud), after a 1.5 hour wait. Lots of excuses, bad service, no pancakes. We left. Bad restaurant. Don't bother.

My wife and I went to the Dutch Pancake Cafe on Wed 18 June at about 9:00 am as she wanted to try the Dutch pancakes. Took about 5 minutes or so to be seated. The greeter sat us at a small round table with two bar stools right next to the entrance although there were plenty of tables in... More

We were greeted and seated immediately. We were given coffee and water right away. It all went down hill from there. The service was terrible. For some reason they were very busy and just disappeared. Our food was good. However one of the egg Benedict eggs was hard boiled. The pancakes were yummy. We had to ask for more beverages... More

all locals avoid going to the Dutch Pankake because of their horrible service. I try to overlook this because there are few places to eat breakfast in Stowe. We stood at the door with a few other couples for ten minutes before being greeted. We sat at a table for 20 minutes before I was irate enough to go ask... More

James P, General Manager at Dutch Pancake Cafe, responded to this review

I remember you clearly. I brought you your water and bloody mary's. As I recall the wait for these items was less than ten minutes. And when I was at your table not once did you give me your grievance or voice your concerns to me as the Manager. I also know that you and your party all work for... More

Went here on a recommendation of a local. The hotel attached to it (Grey Fox Inn) looks really nice but the restaurant The Dutch Pancake Cafe needs a little help. We were seated pretty quickly and ordered right away. The food took 45 mins to come out. What I ordered came out wrong although the waitress was telling me that... More
