We were in the mood for some good Italian food so we decided to try Trattoria. We started off with the calamari appetizer. It was delicious. The bread and butter that came before the meal was also good. I don't usually put butter on my bread but my family said that the garlic butter spread was really good, so I... More

We had 4 kids and 6 adults. They were great about getting the kids their meals first! The food was really good. The service was only OK. It was a Friday and it was packed I guess would be their excuse. Still a nice night seeing friends and family that were in Stowe at the same time.

You know... Ski village, no shortage of pub and inn food. Well, trattoria was nothing short of outstanding. We are a family of 4 and all of our meals were superb. The bistecca was delicious and perfectly cooked, the lamb chops were delicious, pasta dishes terrific, wine list impressive with a number of great values from boutique vintners, and the... More

Small Italian bistro in Stowe VT - delicious food, excellent service and great selection of wines. The owner is always present and is very much on top of the dining experience. We recently dined there and really enjoyed the atmosphere and food. One member of the family enjoyed the risotto - absolutely delicious, comfort food. Another had the Pescatore -... More

I eat in this restaurant whenever I'm in Stowe. Earlier this week two friends and I want for a meal the night before skiing. Antonio, the Chef/Owner had us sit at the bar so we could chat, experience the atmosphere, and eat great food. The beer selections were fine for us beer snobs. We then moved to wine which Antonio... You'll always enjoy an incredible meal here! Warm salutions and smiling faces from everyone working here. From the very beginning we are always greeted as if we are family. The setting is quaint and relaxing. We never feel rushed. The best part is the owners are always spending time with us, asking how we enjoyed our food and sharing stories... More

We were very disappointed. The pasta was over cooked. The tomato sauce seemed literally to come out of a can. The chicken ("their speciality") is at best bland. I would not suggest this restaurant, especially if you want to eat Italian...

We love this place! On our most recent visit we started off with the famous meatball caesar which is not on the menu however the owner loves to accommodate where ever and when ever possible. The meatballs are so good and mixed with the salad makes an unbelievable combo. Next we had the chicken parm which is the best I... More

We loved it! Yes, we've had much better minestrone and the should leave the escargot to the French, but their calamari was out of this world with fresh tomato and olives. The mushroom risotto and the veal costoletta were superb. And finally, their bread pudding was the best dessert I had in Stowe! It was an experience that just kept... More
