Be aware that this is a cash only restaurant - the waitress got very snotty and rolled her eyes when my husband expressed (polite, not angry) surprise that they did not accept credit cards. She then proceeded to huff around with an attitude the rest of the time she dealt with us. We are not rude or unpleasant people and... More

Regular food at great price. We were so impressed with the service here. Friendly, efficient & personable. You can't beat the menu prices--dinner for two was $30 with tip. It is cash only. But who cares? The food was really good. Not gourmet BUT this is an old fashioned malt shop. If you are looking for a fancy burger--go someplace... More

This was a highlight for us. The food was great, the atmosphere of nostalgia was great and the milkshakes were amazing. So many good flavours we loved cookie dough and cookies and cream milkshakes!

We were surprised that it is CASH ONLY, so be forewarned. We ordered oatmeal and had to pay extra to have maple syrup with it. Anytime I have ordered oatmeal it has come with raisins, nuts, brown sugar, cream, etc. to help it taste better- not this place.

Great fast food and great breakfast! Love the ambiance, and the staff and owners are fantastic. I had the double burger and strawberry shake, umm! The display gas pump still shows .20.5 cents a gallon, remember those days? Great experience.

Based on prior reviews, I had to order a milkshake. It was good, but I was expecting the best milkshake ever. I ordered cookies and cream and it was tasty, but not thick enough. Burgers were really good though and everything was reasonably priced. Cash only though, so no credit cards. I would definitely go back if I'm in the... More

Arrived this afternoon just as staff were clearing up in time for closing but they still allowed myself and 2 daughters to order milkshakes ,cup of tea and Brownies and to take a seat at a booth . Could so easily have turned us away so THANK YOU for great customer service.

Stopped by after walking from our motel off the Recreation Path into town. Please add "dog friendly" to the many fine compliments about food and service. We had our dog with us and the waitress was most gracious in allowing him to sit with us in the outdoor seating area next to the restaurant. I had the " Vermonter" panini,... More
