Best Clam Chowder

We had a lovely dinner. No reservation and were still able to get a nice table on a Friday night. The clam chowder was amazing, the best by far we've ever had. Prime rib was delicious.

We recently visited Gracie's in Stow. As always we were pleased with both the food and the atmosphere. The food is reasonably priced, and very good. We are not dog owners, but the decor of this restaurant suggests that the owners are. With Dalmation prints on the curtains, lamp shades ,cups, and everywhere that one may look, creates an image... Thanks for your continued support of Gracie's Restaurant. Grace was our dog in 1991 when we opened. Gracie's is glad you enjoyed not only the food but also the atmosphere. We try to give our employees as much leeway as possible to make every visit enjoyable. This would not be possible without the hard work of our chefs. They are... More

We went for an adult night out we had wonderful food and a great experience with the owner who explained about the title of the restaurant being named after his beloved dog. We said we would send a picture of our dog for his wife to find a place to hang on the wall. Our service was fast our food... More

Another picture for our wall. We look forward to receiving and hanging your picture. I am glad I had time to tell you about Gracie. All of our dogs have been pound rescues and hold a special place in our hearts. When we opened in 1991 Grace was our dog along with George and we decided to try Gracie as... More

Tamas; We are happy you enjoyed Gracies. Our best form of advertising is word of mouth. You got the best of it. Not only recommended by a ;local but you ran into them while at Gracies. My wife grew up in East Longmeadow, went to college here and never went back. I am very glad. thanks Archie More

This was third time at Gracie's but the first time I really enjoyed it. We made an early reservation over the MLK weekend. The restaurant was full but you could still have conversation with friends. The salad was OK (hence the 4 vs 5 stars) but the salmon and dessert were great (a delicious flourless chocolate cake). The portion size... More

Wow! I can't believe I've lived in Vermont my whole life and never eaten here. Instantly a new favorite! The food was amazing. We got the ribs and the filet) everything was unbelievably good. Great flavor for the steak. The ribs fell off the bones they were so tender. The cupcake. That deserves an award all on its own. (Carrot... More

This is a friendly, delicious eatery in Stowe, VT. All the staff is amazingly friendly and ambiance is warm, casual and cleverly decorated. Not too much, not too little. Food is creative and they also have delicious burgers and daily home made wonderful breads. Our favorite place to dine after a day of skiing, or doing anything in Stowe!

Party of 7, we all enjoyed our meals...4 filet mignon steaks, one pot pie, one halibut, and a mac n cheese... All very good at reasonable prices. The only negative was getting one steak cooked properly at a touch over medium....sent it back twice and still undercooked. They did offer to cook me a new steak but at that point... More
